"We saw it trick-or-treating in Renton!" wrote Sandra Jean Feaser, referring to the southern suburb of Renton.

So the alien fireball is hungry for candy...

I was out strolling on the Redondo waterfront between 9 and 10 that night with my date. I saw nothing, except the sweet look of desire in her eyes.

What a great costume. It must be difficult for a fireball to ring the doorbell though.

Yeah, mine wasn't big enough to really show her a good time, but she did seem to enjoy the 7 huge guys and the donkey that came after me.

Hey, I saw this! I was driving North around Federal Way with my dad when I saw something really fast and bright falling across the sky. I thought it must have been a plane landing at Sea-Tac and it just looked really fast for some reason, My dad speculated it was a meteor, turns out he was right.

Goodness gracious, is there nothing left to say?
When the ones that get to keep looking are the ones that look away
It's pabulum for the sleepers in the cult of brighter days

Goodness gracious, at the mercy of the crooks
We're broke and stroking vegetables and there's way too many cooks
In every pot a pink slip, in every mouth a hook

I saw a really bright meteor or shooting star in the southern sky, south of Denver, at approximately 8:01 pm Mountain time last night.

CSB:

My wife and I were lying out on the front lawn on a July 4th night some years ago, and saw a fireball (meteorite) streaking across the sky. Sucker was as big as the moon appears to us, leaving a long trail of fire behind it. As it passed over our house we ran to the back yard and could see it for another 5 seconds or so, when it suddenly shattered into pieces. We could distinctly see at least 4 large pieces of it after it shattered. That was probably one of the single most awesome things I have ever seen.
