Most of Kenny's deaths were just random or even funny, but the "Kenny Dies" episode where he actually died instead of being killed and didn't come back for a season (it was originally intended to be permanent) was truly sad and powerful.

quiotu: Aw, fark the other Autobots. They killed StarScream! After like 8 years of Megatron putting up with his shiat, it took him being reborn and getting Leonard Nemoy's voice that he finally shot the conniving bastard.

I never get upset when a Decepticon gets what's coming to them. Ironhide was my guy though. I was upset when he bought it.

MagSeven: quiotu: scottydoesntknow: afmrick: What no Seymour from Futurama's Jurrasic Bark (S4E7)? That had me crying like a baby as well!

While I appreciate that episode (and it's a great farking episode), Luck of the Fryrish (where Fry finds out about his brother "stealing" his name) hits me a lot harder than it.

Now the one that will almost make me tear up with happiness is Leela finding out about her parents. The whole montage at the end just gets me.

Oh yeah... that reminds me...

[beefeaters.com image 640x480]

Yeah, don't you farking dare deny you didn't...

The list was from MOVIES you farkwits! Thanks for bringing up Jurassic Bark and Fryish though. Now I get to bartend tonight with tears in my eyes.
/"Up" and Optimus get me too.

Upon further review, the inclusion of the Looney Tunes leads me to believe that I am the farkwit. I didn't notice. My eyes were all watery. Carry on!

Charlotte's Web messed me up when I was little, 99% of it is because that's my mother's name.

To those who mentioned Little Foot's mom, sweet Jeebus I tear up just thinking about it. Especially when she says, "even though you can't see me, I'll always be with you."

Damn. I'm 28 years old and consider myself a non-crier as far as movie films go, but that makes me well up instantly.

LaViergeNoire: Oh lord, Ray in Princess and the Frog. I thought I was the only one. I sobbed. And then for the next day or so I couldn't even talk about it without falling apart. I was trying to tell my husband about it (he's used to me) and I could only get out the word "Evangeline" and then burst into tears again. I didn't even like Ray all that much and what happened after he died was predictable, but it still messed me up.

/Do not watch Titanic with me
//I cried through all three hours of the touring production of Les Miserables. The movie this winter will kill me, I have no doubt

It gets a bittersweet when you realize what Ray becomes...

Plague Dogs - Snitter *literally* kills the last chance he has for a happy home life

that's the movie where they ask children to decide whether the island is a mirage or reality, right? jesus christ, what a depressing movie.

You do realize that it's not a children's film, right? Animation was simply the most cost effective way of realistically portraying anthropomorphic talking animals.

Ohhh my god, yea that list wasn't bad but if your willing to go foreign then its going to get real dark real fast. Grave of the Fireflies should only be viewed with handfulls of prozac on hand.

Watership Down is a kids movie, I watched when it came out. I had my kids watch it when they were quite young. Just because its not blowing happy sunshine up your butt doesnt mean its not a kids movie.

It's a film that doesn't talk down to children. That book and that movie are needed, to tell kids some unpleasant truths (kind of like NIMH, but much more brutal). That book and movie opened a lot of eyes about cruelties to animals in the name of science. It's just that to know that the 'happy ending' was probably not going to happen, that was the worst. After all they'd been through, it just wasn't fair -- yet their story was typical, not exceptional.

Humans suck.

I'm sorry. I need a moment.

God damn it.....who's chopping onions out here? I don't cry during movies either, and even as a kid I normally didn't, but I was sobbing for the rest of the film, and then as I said, my dad had to carry me out to the car because I was crying so hard I couldn't walk. I still can't watch that movie to this day. Because at the age of 30 I know, if I see that again, I'll start bawling like an infant with a loaded diaper.

Thats kind of how I feel about GotFF, but I wouldnt try to get my kids to watch it till they are almost teenagers, well the older one probably never. If you want to show someone about how bad a nuclear bomb's after affects can really be, baby thats it. Just make sure you hide all the sleeping pills before you show it.

I wonder if they will ever make a anime of We3, that would make the list. Or at least it should.

Washes our tears all away!
Words are swaying,

Oh man, that was my first exposure to a main character dying in anything I can remember. Robotech was full of death. "Dear sweet Littlefoot... do you remember the way to the Great Valley?"

*sniff* "I guess so. But, why do I have to know, you're going to be with me!"

"I'll be with you... even if you can't see me..."

"What do you mean, "If I can't see you"? I can always see you."

"...Littlefoot... let your heart guide you....... it whispers... so listen closely............."

"Mother? Mother?!"

"Don't lose your way.
With each passing day,
You've come so far.
Don't throw it away!
Live believing
Dreams are for weaving!
Wonders are waiting to start!
Live your story:
Faith, hope and glory!
Hold to the truth in your heart!

If we hold on together,
I know our dreams will never die!
Dreams see us through to forever!
Where clouds roll by
For you and I!

Souls in the wind
Must learn how to bend.
Seek out a star,
Hold on to the end.
Valley, mountain,
There is a fountain
Washes our tears all away!
Words are swaying,
Somebody is praying,
Please let us come home to stay!

If we hold on together,
I know our dreams will never die!
Dreams see us through to forever!
Where clouds roll by
For you and I!

When we are out there in the dark,
We'll dream about the sun!
In the dark we'll feel the light
Warm our hearts, everyone!

If we hold on together,
I know our dreams will never die!
Dreams see us through to forever!
As high as souls can fly,
The clouds roll by
For you and I!"

My mother died when I was very young. I refuse to ever watch that movie again because I know that scene will just destroy me heart and soul. It was bad enough watching it with her as a child and her reassuring me that she wasn't going anywhere, but now? Fark that.
