soy_bomb: Billionaires for Obama

FTFA: Both candidates had eagerly sought the nod from Bloomberg, who didn't endorse a presidential candidate in 2008 and has publicly grumbled about both Obama and Romney.

ONE hot summer's day a Fox was strolling through an orchard till he came to a bunch of Grapes just ripening on a vine which had been trained over a lofty branch. "Just the things to quench my thirst," quoth he. Drawing back a few paces, he took a run and a jump, and just missed the bunch. Turning round again with a One, Two, Three, he jumped up, but with no greater success. Again and again he tried after the tempting morsel, but at last had to give it up, and walked away with his nose in the air, saying: "I am sure they are sour."

This has the feel of the Powell endorsement circa 2008.

I'm fairly sure he'd turn it down. I think his plan is to spend the rest of his life giving much of his money away.

I think it would be fun for him to join Ed Koch and Al D'Amato on their radio show, though.

Bloomberg faulted the president for discounting centrists, trading in divisive, partisan attacks and failing to make progress on issues like gun control, immigration and the federal deficit.

Nobody will farking touch gun control anymore.

And as for the "trading in divisive, partisan attacks", let me laugh even harder.
