Redheaded women? Yes. Redheaded dudes, though, are almost universally disliked.

Seriously, a while back I joined a dating site. I'd see some cute girl, scroll down through her information and we'd match on a lot of things. Her description? Sounds great. Children? Match Religion? Match. On and on, match, match, match. Then hair color. Blond, brown. No red.

Now, at first I thought maybe it was an anomaly, but it was extremely prevalent. I'd find women who picked blond, brown, gray, white and multicolored, but not red.

I blame the media. Hot blond women and men are well represented, from Charlize Theron to Robert Redford. Brunettes? All over the place from Sophia Vergara to George Clooney. And then there are redheads. Now redheaded women? Sure. Christina Hendricks, Amy Adams... and all of the hot redheaded women I'm sure will be posted in this thread. But dudes? What redheaded dudes are there? Carrot Top, Howdy Doody, Opie Taylor, that kid from Harry Potter and Ronald Motherfarking McDonald.

Now, I'm not saying that even if these women had included redheads in their selection that I would have a chance, I'm just saying that there's a cultural bias that kept them from choosing it in the first place.
