btw, it wasn't the bed that he forgot to lower....it was the lift arm...semantics maybe, but there is a difference...

Fail post fail.
It was the rear gate of the dump body. (you can see it laying in the road). the lift arm is still in its lowered position in the photo.

/yup, definitely a difference

All CDL drivers have a DoT card saying they are medically fit to drive a rig, normally it is good for two years unless you have high blood pressure or some other condition, if it expires you can't drive till you have another physical

I'm not sure how this stuff happens. How did he get this far and not once look in his mirrors? I am a commercial driver and I am constantly checking my mirrors out of habit.
