It's like an Alanis Morissette headline, without an ironic tag.

I'd be a lot happier if I had a clitoris, I think.

Holy crap, Alanis Morissette is still alive?

Sure, she says that now, but if you go and try to embrace her femininity you get a restraining order.

Stop playing games with my heart, girl!

Women are said to have longer lasting, and closer friendships than men. They are also allowed to be vulnerable, emote feelings more without as much judgment, and aren't typically seen as losers if they aren't successful in their careers. With exceptions to the cattiness, lower pay, wearing makeup, and bleeding from the genitals once a month; it sounds like a generally happier existence.

All of this earth goddess empowerment stuff makes me go a big rubbery one.

I'm sure that feminists all over the nation are flinging themselves into bonfires.

"Alanis Morissette says America would be a much happier place if people embraced the feminine"

Hey, Alanis, look around.....

Heterosexual guys wearing eyeliner, caring about their hair/clothes/appearance, talking about their feelings...

I'm pretty sure we are already "embracing the feminine"

Actually, I think she's gotten a little better with age. Not that she wasn't good looking back then, just hotter now, I think.

I used to be a feminist, but then I actually had to live with a woman for a while.

Don't believe the hype -- women are nothing special.

I'd let her go down on me in a theater.

I'm rather indifferent to Alanis as a musician, I realize the music is not really targeted to my particular "demo", but everytime I've ever heard her interviewed I realize I probably couldn't spend more than 20 minutes locked in a room with her without slitting my wrists.

I can't fault her for dating that guy. When he's not trying to goof it up by being Joey, he was a fairly attractive man. As for his personality, well, I know nothing about the man other than he played that character and dated Alanis.

The ideal vision, in theory, would be to find the delicate and meaningful blend of both the masculine and feminine, and the acceptance of the fact that we all fall somewhere unique on this continuum ... and that it is a continuum.

The embodiment of the empowered feminine and masculine, in theory, would "show up" in people who possess varying degrees of both qualities. The most important part being that what we had on our hands was less a gender war, and more of a resistance to the masculine or feminine within each of us.

Ryan Reynolds probably unlocked repressed memories of listening to this shiat every day for 5 years for his method acting in Buried.

I got rid of cable, so I don't have the news channels anymore, and I find I'm much happier because of that.

That doesn't mean I'm ignorant. In fact, I'd argue that I'm more well informed simply because I don't park my ass in front of a widescreen and watch MSNBC or FoxNews. Oh, and I get to skip the "scare du jour" and "missing white girl" stories. I *LISTEN* to the news (usually NPR, which at least makes an effort to be nonpartisan, even if it fails at times), and I *READ* the news, but I generally don't watch it.

/Much happier.

gotten many in unusual places but never there. Then again, I don't go to the movies that often.

I don't believe in blow jobs. I've never gotten one from man or woman that felt good enough to want another one. I think it's a joke and everybody else is just joking about it. The girls in porn do it for money, I can't understand why the guy enjoys it. I know why I'm SUPPOSED to enjoy it, but I don't.

All it takes is changing a word or two of the truth. My statement is 90% my true feelings. And it might be possible to convince me that I'm 100% right. I might try this one out elsewhere.

My point being that I wasn't posting that to troll, I was putting out *some* of my experience, then finding a way to make it interesting or entertaining to anybody who read it.
