Wow, I've never been simultaneously nostalgic and depressed at the state of democracy at the same time.

Wow. And here I thought the whole thing with Tina Fey / Sarah Palin, where she just quoted her, was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. No candidate, having seen that, would be such a farking joke as to make their own exact words The Joke.

Boy, was I wrong.

Can that dude just freely call himself Joe Isuzu now? Does Isuzu not care since they exited the American market?

2012-11-01 01:06:48 AM
Outstanding. Out-f*cking-standing.

/Nice to see Joe Isuzu again. It's been a while.

What you said. I was trying to come up with something funny to say, but after watching a clip of Crazy Eyes and Joe Isuzu back-to-back, i wonder how the hell we farked up so very badly.

You did say "rape" twice... we know what that means.

Romney would probably be doing better if he had that range of emotion.

Unfortunately, Isuzu has a better humanity programming department than Intel.

2012-11-01 03:40:39 AM
as much as Joe Isuzu used to make me smile, i'm a little sad because two people i know are voting for Willard. fark it. we don't pick the next prince anyway, it's all a bullshiat dog & pony show. just ask Crab Man.

Hacky, has-been comic types shilling for (against, really) a candidate? I thought that was a GOP thing.

I think Joe had some work done

Now now, we all know our RW bretheren are humour impaired and it simply does not do to openly mock their disability on a public forum.

Tsk!

Tsk I say!

Whats the joke?

2012-11-01 04:59:32 AM
Meh...not seeing the funny in that one, I'm afraid. I get that there is some nostalgia in the thread, but the video is just him standing there pretending to talk.

Would have been better as a remake of the "fark you Baltimore" car commercial.

"fark you Baltimore America! If you're dumb enough to buy from us vote for Mitt Romney..." etc.

That Mittens has less credibility than a slimy used car salesman type?

That he stands for nothing and that people who take him seriously are idiots?

Not to put too fine a point on it... if you don't get the joke... you *are* the joke.

Does that help?

Its easy to get. Joe Isuzu was a pathological liar. So is Mitt Romney. Doesn't make it funny, just accurate. Certainly doesn't make it hysterical.

DemoKnite: Whats the joke?

Guy used to play an obviously lying car pitch man with subtitles pointing out his lies in a series of Isuzu commercials that were pretty well known at the time.

The joke is Romney is just as sincere.

If you're already familiar with the commercials it comes off as an apt comparison.

Easier for some than others if this thread is any indication.

Mitt Romney being both a pathological liar and a candidate for POTUS with a ridiculous number of people willing to vote for him based purely on party is both funnier than Fark and sadder than a kitten with cancer.

It's really one of those "ya gotta laugh or yer gonna cry" dealies.

What's funny is that Southern "Christians" have now proven that they're just Republicans having a Sunday meeting, otherwise they would never dream of voting for a Mormon. If Obama was a Mormon (yeah, right, a black Mormon) every single one of those Southern churches would be going crazy publicizing how he's not a Christian.

If they'd used his FEMA and climate comments in this Joe Isuzu video, it would've been so depressing I would've opened a wrist. Or just drink more heavily. 7am too late for vodak?

0-3hrs after waking up: Vodka + OJ
3-5hrs after being awake: Vodka + tomato juice
5hrs +: Straight up, martini or other preferred higher concentration recipe

No, just no.

Vodka + Clamato = Yum.

I don't watch much tv at all. it's to the point where until recently my only exposure to Mitt Romney has been on the Internet. the first time I was flipping channels and paused on a news bit featuring Romney I thought it was a spoof. I couldn't believe the guy actually existed.

Not when you realize all that shiat was said by a single candidate for President of the United States. Then it's really just sad regardless of what video to which it's attached.

Wow, last night on the local TV station I saw Joe Isuzu on one of those hokey local attorney commercials. Less than 12 hours later I see him here. I had no thought of the guy in ten years and now...

/mind blown
