Krymson Tyde: Proof positive that Fartb0ng0 controls the price of gas.
WTF Indeed: GAT_00: Thanks for nothing Fartbama.I heard 0bama struck a deal with Hugo Chavez for all their oil in exchange for the first-born sons of all white Americans?/too jewish?
We'll work up a Number 6 on 'em! That's where we go a-ridin' into town, a-whompin' and a-whumpin' every gas stations and oil refinery that moves within an inch of its life. Except the oil barrels, of course. You spare the barrels?Naw, we rape the shiat out of them at the Number Six Dance later on.Marvelous!
HotWingAgenda: HotWingAgenda: FTFA: Kloza and others said gasoline could move higher . . .Yeah.Oh, and may I add, I had $5/gallon gas like a week or two ago. California sucks in some ways.
GAT_00: Thanks for nothing Fartbama.
MythDragon: fatalvenom: MythDragon: I'll bet a year of TotalFark, that if B-Rock the Islamic Shock is re-elected, within 1 week, all the banks will be closed and soldiers will be marching in the streets. In fact, I have it on good authority that it will happen.I'll take that bet./screenshot takenSucker.Let's see...The election is on the 6th... Check your calender. What is going on for the 11th that is observed on the 12th?So are you gonna send me my year of TF now, or do you want to wait until the 12th and make it offical?

ThrobblefootSpectre: One interesting implication is that if sandy shut down auto travel in the northeast for, say, 5 days, then at the current rate of traffic fatalities per capita per day, Sandy actually saved lives as a net effect when all else is accounted for.
SevenizGud: phrawgh: Supply and demand do not drive gas prices.Yeah, if everyone banded together and refused to pay any more than $3.50 a gallon, they would still price it at $4, amirite? You people who refuse supply and demand are tards. Supply and demand are pretty much the ONLY things that matter. There is contribution by political risk (Nigeria) and factors regarding the relative availability of various qualities of crude. But this tin-foil-hat nuttery about how basic economic principle falls into the void in gas prices is only believed by people who believe Karl Rove really rules the world.Think about what you write. How could a fungible asset remain an arbitrage target? Please be less stupid.
dickfreckle: Emposter: Gas prices have nothing to do with supply. Oil is controlled by a series of massive cartels that ensure that gas/oil prices are always exactly the maximum people are willing to pay, regardless of the cost of actually getting the oil.I remember when fuel was just over a dollar p/g. It was under $2 as recently as 2008 when demand killed the price. While I understand that Obama doesn't have a magic switch to change these prices, I'm also angry that my earnings are stagnated while the price of damn near everything is skyrocketing. Even a farking can of tuna that I bought for sammiches is suddenly 40% higher. In a good year I make 50,000. It's typically 40k. I'll survive, but it's starting to get uncomfortable when I look at my receipts.
phrawgh: They have to lay off more employees at the refinery. Being an ongoing, profitable business is no longer good enough. WE MUST SHOW GROWTH EVERY QUARTER.Supply and demand do not drive gas prices.
phrawgh: Supply and demand do not drive gas prices.
The Onion is prophetic: Krymson Tyde: Proof positive that Fartb0ng0 controls the price of gas.I thought prices went up because of 0bama0 but went down despite his best efforts to sell us to Iran.
