Please stop doing these. I don't know why shiatty "real people as sci-fi characters" articles keep getting greenlit here. Nobody cares how much Mitt Romney is like Dr. Peter Venkman.

Also, comparing anyone to Jar Jar Binks is inexcusable.

Can this thread just be an excuse for Natalie Portman pics? I'd like that.

A much better reason for a thread than "let's take another shot at Tony Romo".

Lord knows there's nothing I enjoy more than having roundtable discussions on which NFL players could be cast in some of my favorite films. In fact, I spent four hours this past Saturday talking to the fallen leaves in my backyard about my honest belief that Blaine Gabbert would've made even better Tommy in Trainspotting.

Amazingly, that failed to live up to the already low expectations I had for it when I clicked. Well, other than Romo as Jar-Jar. That was obvious.

That was phenomenal from the PR thread, much kudos Treygreen13

And another kudos.

To TFA, I always hate these things, but they are good for a laugh if well done. This one was kinda meh, so here are some improvements:

- Wouldn't it make more sense for the Mannings to be Luke/Leia (Eli/Peypey)?
- Josh McDaniels would make more sense as Padme with Brady/Belicheck's assignments
- If Eli is Luke, doesn't that make Tom Coughlin Obi-Wan?
- Cam would be better as Lando
- I would rather have Charles Woodson as Qui-gon, but Harrison works
- Jim Schwartz or Andy Reid as Tarkin since I took off McDaniels, and it looks like they are losing their teams
- Jordy Nelson as Wedge
- Kolb/Skelton as Greedo

DNRTFA. Please tell me they had Reid as Porkins. Makes more sense now than ever.

It takes a lot for me to take time to comment about how lame a link is. This one did it. That was lame.

Forgot Julius Peppers as Darth Vader. I get that in the movies, Anakin is Vader, but Brady works as Anakin, not Vader.

When I watch games with Giants fans we universally call him Darth Tuck due to the facemask:

I stand corrected, also Mike Wallace (due to parsec running speed) or Julio Jones (simply due to team) as the Millennium Falcon.

Tony Romo is so good that he nearly overcame the 23 point deficit caused by Tony Romo and if the Cowboys didn't have Tony Romo they would've been down by way more than 23 somehow!

Maybe so, but he didn't ruin the entire franchise. That was just absurd.
