MrSteve007: The article is only taking about the 300 apps currently in process for release from a single day coding event in India . . .

Curiously, all 300 apps have nested tabs, calendar buttons everywhere, and dropdowns with only one choice.

Vegan Meat Popsicle: The shiat-tastic and pointless UI aside, I find myself with the same question I had about Vista: why?

Even ignoring the fact you seem to think I spend my time giving my computer screen digital sexual pleasure and have created a UI on this basis, I see no reason to adopt. Windows 7 support will overlap with the majority of Windows 8's useful life, Windows 7 is more than adequate, and Windows 9, which will likely be little more than a fix to make Windows 8 do the things it was supposed to in the first place, will be released in the same time period.

No, no I think not. You keep your shiatty Vista Touch OS to yourself. I'll wait a few years until you fix it, thanks.

Oh, yeah? Well, I run XP unskinned (grey rectangles are so freakin in right now).

MaudlinMutantMollusk: That POS isn't getting anywhere near my computer

How would you know it's a POS without using it?
