If I was born with extra fingers that were fully functional I would be pretty pissed if I found out later in life that my parents cut them off.

I still haven't forgiven them for cutting off my extra penis.

Joke's on you. Originally you had five penises, but they could never find pants for you that would fit like a glove, so down to one you went.

Yeah, India is basically case in point for why the US shouldn't attempt to weaken or undermine the EPA.

Actually I've thought about it. Ethically should we cut off fully functional extra appendages just to make them fit in? If my kid had an extra finger that worked I wouldn't.
/Of course with this kid they're deformed and he should probably get surgery.

THIS.

I've been to India. It's a farking sewer. Any "small government" conservative who opposes the EPA should be forced to go live there for a month.

Hell, riding on their roads even gave me a little more respect for traffic cops in the USA. Indian traffic is utter pandemonium. I don't even know why they bother painting lines on the road, everyone ignores them.

I went to school with a girl who has 12 toes. The freaky thing is that her feet look totally normal, except for the extra toe on each foot. Her parents decided not to have them removed because they were totally functional.

And then there was the girl with the extra nipple. On her side.

The parents might want to reconsider removing the appendage on right hand that sticks out. That will really hurt if he catches it on something.

And the little boy's father is a survivor of the Bhopal Disaster, which just increases the chances of his children having birth defects.

I've had two team mates lose nipples in bike crashes. One was wearing a nipple ring and crashed into a rock Garden and tore it clean off. the other crashed in a crit and scraped it completely off road-rash style. In both cases the nipples completely regenerated. Which is a damn good thing because they were both freaked the fark out about not having a nipple.

At least get rid of the 13th finger to make it even. (I'm OCD like that...)

Pretty average, if he's anything like Antonio Alfonseca. Everybody knows you gotta lose fingers if you want that extra twist to your curve (see Brown, Mordecai).

If it's functional, then yeah, leave it on, but I would at least separate the fingers that are fused together.

And possibly this too, especially if it's just hanging there and he can't use it.

good to know!
I had so much crashes that I barely notice it when I get a small cut in the forarms or calfs, but the only time I hurt my nipples was only a bruise and hurt like HELL! and I 'm a guy. Peoples with nipple-piercing are crazy, IMO
After that crash I' was afraid a realy unlucky earth-kissing could sand a nipple off.
Thank you for the info.

Poly-dactyl here:

Born with an extra pinky toe here in the good ole U.S of A, removed as an adult.

Researched the issue, sometimes it can be genetic, some times developmental (the embryonic toe buds can get split for some reason)..

It tends to be dominant if genetic, and since my kids are all 5-digited, I'm thinking mine was genetic...

I suspect that's how he lost one of his fingers when he was two years old

"'He was out playing when he injured one of his fingers and it just sort of came off,' Anil said."

Just wait till he's old enough to be interested in girls and they don't want anything to do with him. He'll have that surgery in 2 seconds.

At least get rid of that hanging pinky. That doesn't even look safe. How does that not get stuck on something and pulled off?

Trust me, the best course of action is to get the kid surgery as soon as possible.
See my previous post, went through childhood with an extra toe, not fun socially, you know how kids are.
