It's a well known fact that male stars of 80's comedies are immortal.

Funny, I keep thinking about him lately. We've had to do layoffs at my work, with likely more coming, and I keep remembering the episode where he has to lay someone off.

Jm. J Bullock has been living with HIV for nearly 30 years. He's got Magic Johnson beat.

Your theory may be correct.

I too enjoy eating beans with George Wendt.

George Wendt stood behind me in the balcony at the Hollywood Palladium during a Replacements concert. He was noticeably excited during "Here Comes A Regular".

I thought he was excellent in Empire of the Ants (a Stuart 'Re-animator' Gordon film), as well as doing an amusingly dark comedic turn in the Masters of Horror ep 'Family Man'.
I wish him the best.

Since it is halloween, if you are looking for a decent creepy 80s movie, "The House" is a good one to watch, and it has ole George in it.

I think it's a combination of financial stress and lack of sleep. Wendt sounded like he partied hard yet had adapted to a lifestyle that he couldn't really keep up anymore: most of his problems stemmed from the fact that he wasn't making Cheers-level money anymore yet was kinda well-off but was still victim to wanting more and more. And after Cheers, his career was either plays or not much else.

I hope he gets better.

I got to see George Wendt earlier this year in Re-Animator: The Musical. He looked great and gave us an excellent performance! Here's to a quick recovery, George!

That guy was seriously unhealthy 30 years ago. How the f*ck is he still alive?! Meanwhile, I put on 10 pounds and feel like I'm going to die every day.

/Maybe it's because I'm short
