I mean, I pretend the Johnny Marr + the Healers album didn't happen too.
But that was basically a solo album.
And it blew.

Yeah, this. Saw them in Boston and after the initial awesomeness of being 10 feet from Johnny Farking Marr subsided I realized the show was one of the worst i'd been to.

I hope it has some electronic aspect to raise the pressure so I can feel every beat. If not he won't be getting away with it.

Amanda Farking Palmer has copyrighted "farking" as a middle name. FYI.

so 30 years to make a solo record?

this better part an ocean or bring the messiah 20 seconds onto the first track.

if it's anything like his other drivel (The The and the Pretenders stuff aside) he can keep his solo record...

Marr is great with other bands, not so much with himself as a "lead" as such...

/shouldn't "Marr" be in spellcheck by now?

Sounds like he was looking for a job and then he found a job.

I read the link in the sidebar where he discusses the old records - damn.

I like to make fun of morrissey too but putting out those four records in a four year run is pretty insane.

The man wrote the music to Handsome Devil, What Difference Does It Make? The Queen Is Dead, There Is A Light, Panic, Sweet & Tender Hooligans, Unloveable and You Just Haven't Earned It Yet Baby (among many great songs), he's earned whatever accolades come his way.

Has anyone heard the new Smiths remasters? Did he do a good job?

/The Smiths = band of the 80's

I wish spentmiles would tell me a story about Johnny Marrs.

I liked the Johnny Marrs + The Healers album.
That is all.
(was never a Smiths fan, though, so take that for what you will)
