I think we all know his margin of victory will be smaller than in 08 when the Republican party intentionally tanked the election by putting Palin on the ticket.

So, someone still doesn't understand the electoral college? I am shocked by this.

Given that this is Breitbart, I'm guessing the lead is a lot bigger.

So, Gallup, which as a 5 point lead for Mitt Romney as an extreme outlier, shows the same lead for Romney in early voting. Shocking.

Limbaugh was just ranting about how there is 'no enthusiasm' for Obama anywhere in the country. did you know that we've actually got people out canvasing in Perry county? first time EVER...but people are out there knocking on doors for Obama deep in red neck country and getting a positive response.

@WeaverXP if you want to join my twitter feed.

Obama has a 26 point lead in Ohio based on exit polling. Gallup hasn't done any exit polling and in fact no polling at all at the State level as far as I can tell.

This is based on their National polling, I wonder if someone says the early voted when early voting has not even opened yet in their State if they count that as an affirmative.

Limbaugh was just saying that the hurricane was good for Romney. so all that property damage, chaos and those deaths were GOOD for the Republicans. isn't that nice of him to say that?

Seems like this "it's in the bag for Romney" approach would discourage the right from voting...or at least not fire them up the way "it's a real squeaker. Every vote counts! Vote! Vote! Vote!!!" would.

I can only assume Breitbart, Rush and their ilk are laying the groundwork for a "the election was rigged" shiatfit. "Rmember how much of a lead Romney had??? And then he gets creamed?? FRAUD!!1!"

What was up with his rant this morning about "the press" wanting Obama to delay the election, and how the President doesn't have the authority to do it, and then somehow in the middle of it screaming about how Obama stripped the work requirements out of welfare (which he didn't).

its really weird - most GOP pundits are running around screaming their heads off that Romney has the lead, that Romney has it in the bag, that Romney is so far ahead that the ONLY way Obama could win is if he cheated. if anything, the Republican talking heads are only motivating Democrats to push harder for Obama.

Limbaugh is getting weirder with his topic shifts. I suspect there was a more logical topic shift in there somewhere but he hit the tape delay and edited a comment or three out before it went on air.

Well, a 26 point Romney lead is well within expectations for Ohio. No news there.

Limbaugh also said that because everyone in the press was focused on storm related chaos that they weren't reporting on Romney, so that meant Romney wouldn't go down in the polls. consider the implications of that for a moment, if you will...

Don't get overconfident. 538 still gives Romney a 1/4 chance of winning this, which isn't horrible odds, plus Ohio isn't exactly known for their lack of voter fraud.

Mitt supported the war, it's just that he had to go to France.

It's not that weird, this media narrative is one of the pieces required to make the Ohio results look credible. Because Romney is going to cheat.

If Obama wins---and I really think it's a toss-up right now---nothing will please me more than to watch the heads on the right asplode. A bonus would be Obama losing the popular vote but winning the electoral college Unfortunately, the joy will be temporary, as the fraud/rigged conspiracy theorists will be in full throat until at least November 2016.
