About 20% of the FEMA effort will be proving food to Christie to reduce the daily calorie shortfall that's sure to happen.

Quantum Romney is about the most funny and accurate description I've yet heard.

You can't say if his chances are dead or alive until you look in the ballot box. Until then, he can exist simultaneously in two states, namely Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Romney wasn't responding to a question about federal disaster relief budget shortfalls should lead to cutting FEMA's level of responsibility by suggesting we eliminate FEMA, and shift the burden of disaster relief onto the states and private sector. Well, based on his RECORD in Massachusetts: he'll spend 2/3 of the time outside the country badmouthing the US as a hopeless liberal wasteland trying to get support for his run for "Emperor of the World" in 2016. When IN the country, he'll spend time writing executive orders to hopeless mire people (particularly non-heterosexual people) in legal red tape to get anything done, outsource as much of the federal workforce to China and India, and veto everything that Congress sends him.

He'll also take a lot of time working with the local LDS to pump up the visibility of the church, promote church members to positions, etc., and work to get more Mormons elected. It will be INTERESTING to see how that plays at the Federal level.

How could I send it in a letter if the postal service didn't exist? I guess I could Fedex it, but that's crazy talk.

BTW, we had forums before widespread use of the internet, we just had to dial directly into them.

No, you uneducated, technologically ignroran, knuckle-walking mouth breather. We didn't. We had forums and BBS's that you could dial into prior to the widespread growth of the World Wide Web, but the Web is not the internet.

Goddamnit, there are times when I absolutely hate just how simple it's become for the masses to get online, or use a computer for that matter. We've gotten to the point where everything's plug and play, and color-coded for your convenience. And thus, we are stuck with these idiots among us.

Half you conservative morons have no idea that the Internet was a DIRECT RESULT of nothing but Big Government spending in the 1960's, but you'll happily use the medium to biatch about the Feds anyway. The internet? Yeah, you didn't build that.

Fark, if we could at least make you fools compile your own kernel or something, it would set the barrier to entry somewhere above "troglodyte", and that alone would cut down on a ton of noise.

Does it hurt to be that clueless? Because it should.

Mitt Romney is absolutely right. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is a complete failure and a huge waste of money. We need to elect him so that he can eliminate it and replace it with.... um.... the Nation Disaster Response Agency. Yeah, that's it! He'll create the NDRA, which will respond will federal resources to localized disasters! It'll be completely different than FEMA! Look, the name is different and everything! Then we will repeal Obamacare and replace it with Romneycare, which will be much better. Yeah, okay, so it will be exactly the same, but if WE do it, it will be farking AWESOME! Those stupid Dims can't do anything right. We just need to undo everything they've ever done and then replace those things with Republican "alternatives". Then they will all work perfectly, won't cost any money and we can all live out our lives happily ever after in a paradise of Republican making. It's going to be awesome!

I follow a guy named Matt Romney on FB and he is pretty funny in his efforts playing Mitt's odd cousin. He plays at defending Mitt in his most unemotional moments (dogs on cars/binders full of women) and makes it pretty funny. During the debate when Mitt said something about American Strength he posted something like "When Mitt said American Strentgh he wase imagineing strangling a homeless person." It's hard for me not to think of that when any mention of Mitt in some humanitarian effort is made.
