Yep, he'll fall right back in love with a federal agency that he wants to eliminate, and with a funding mechanism that he called "immoral". That's Quantum Romney for you.

About 20% of the FEMA effort will be proving food to Christie to reduce the daily calorie shortfall that's sure to happen.

Seriously, who is surprised? Romney keeps running the total bull shiat Jeep ads, the truth isn't a factor in his campaign. It's just a hurdle.

Honey, can't you see? He's not a ni66er.

"Obama's birthplace, his paternity, his religion, his academic attainments, his citizenship and his loyalty to the country have all been called into question by [Republicans] who feel no moral qualms about spreading fabrications and untruths."

FEMA has pretty much always gotten high marks with people, except for 2005, when the Horse Whisperer was put in charge.

Quantum Romney is about the most funny and accurate description I've yet heard.

You can't say if his chances are dead or alive until you look in the ballot box. Until then, he can exist simultaneously in two states, namely Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Good for him. We shouldn't politicize natural disasters...at ALL. (Except perhaps to recognize that climate change is indeed a threat to our planet - I think this storm is an anomaly more than caused by climate change.)

Between his political ambitions and his weight problem, Chris Christie may realize that 2016 is his best shot at winning the presidency. After all, he may not survive until 2020.

Of course we should also realize that Chris Christie wants to run for president in four years, not eight :)

It could be that he thinks Obama's doing a good job, it could be he doesn't like Romney, it could be he's an (R) governor in a (D) state or it could be he would rather not have an incumbent Romney in 2016.

Once again Romney's rhetoric is proven to be incompatible with reality and he must flip-flop. You don't get do-overs as President, Mr. Romney.

I follow a guy named Matt Romney on FB and he is pretty funny in his efforts playing Mitt's odd cousin. He plays at defending Mitt in his most unemotional moments (dogs on cars/binders full of women) and makes it pretty funny. During the debate when Mitt said something about American Strength he posted something like "When Mitt said American Strentgh he wase imagineing strangling a homeless person." It's hard for me not to think of that when any mention of Mitt in some humanitarian effort is made.

Oddly enough, Meat Loaf would be a perfect choice to play Chris Christie whenever the Game Change folks get around to doing a movie about this election.

#2 Bigots feel they can legislate their morals/hate onto others
#3 Racists love that he is white
#4 Willfully ignorant hate all incumbants

Romney saying he wants to privatize FEMA.

I know, outright lying hasn't stopped him on any other issue, now that he's the champion of auto bailouts, a huge supporter of many of the parts of Obamacare, and all the rest.

Mitt Romney is absolutely right. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is a complete failure and a huge waste of money. We need to elect him so that he can eliminate it and replace it with.... um.... the Nation Disaster Response Agency. Yeah, that's it! He'll create the NDRA, which will respond will federal resources to localized disasters! It'll be completely different than FEMA! Look, the name is different and everything! Then we will repeal Obamacare and replace it with Romneycare, which will be much better. Yeah, okay, so it will be exactly the same, but if WE do it, it will be farking AWESOME! Those stupid Dims can't do anything right. We just need to undo everything they've ever done and then replace those things with Republican "alternatives". Then they will all work perfectly, won't cost any money and we can all live out our lives happily ever after in a paradise of Republican making. It's going to be awesome!

No, that would be the governors that order to send in the guard. It's also the governors that have their hands out for that federal money. (See Perry, Rick 2011, and Christie, Chris Today)

It's incredible how that works.
