He was ready to do it for entirely AWing purposes. Why not donate it for actual humanitarian purposes? Sure, there's no obligation to, but he looks like a worthless human being if he doesn't

Or at least have the sense to not remind everyone during an actual disaster that he needs his ego stroked before he will donate.

I'm not hearing much from Obama or his administration about my $5M offer to charity or to which charity the money will go.

Oh goddammit. Shut the fark up you farking narcissistic, worthless piece of shiat.

This is more worthless than most times though. A big emergency or potential disaster usually has even attention whores either getting out of the way or helping out. Even Romney, even in a cynical way, is contributing to the idea that "Yeah, millions of people are getting hit by a huge storm, everyone should help out."

That this asshole is still trying to attention whore when this is going on is sociopathic to the point of just being evil in your narcissism.

And I say this as someone who doesn't know if he'll have power over the next few hours. I got a call from Con-Ed that they might shut off power in south Brooklyn if it looks like the tunnels are going to flood.

He is a huge dick. Who gives a shiat what he says. Sure he should give money to the Red Cross but he should also STFU.

I bet we could raise $5MM for the ARC if he promised to STFU for a month.

I got 2 emails from the Red Cross, one yesterday and one today asking for money. I also got a note from the local DMAT coordinator that we are in the 3rd wave of call ups if they set up DMAT. The chances of that happening are lower than the chance of Trump shutting the feck up.

I don't give the Red Cross money, time sure, money nope.

I think we should go back to the days of old, when the practices helped truly keep storms away.

To do this, we should sacrifice Donald Trump by burning at the steak, as is customary of monsters.

Well, the point is to grandstand and make people pay attention to Trump, so no.

If Trump gave a fark about anyone but himself he'd donate the money. But he has no intention of ever donating, even if his threat is met.

I'm sorry, I was just using the reference I had now. I can't really speak for Baltimore residents or New Jersey residents and what they're going through. Frankly, I'm amazed the power is still on. But it's more than "the subway is closed." Emergency orders to stay inside, flooding at the Battery is at least a foot over the recorded record... it's pretty amazing. My wife's in NY near Gramercy Park for work. She says it's awful, but manageable. She said the worst part so far has been hearing glass panels that are falling off the buildings hitting the street. Still, she's on the seventh floor of a building and hasn't been too put out, nor will she be if the power goes out. She can manage because our house in VA has been through this several times in the last decade and week long power outages and flooding are the norm.

I'm sure it's scary, but unless you're carrying cats on your shoulder and putting important paperwork into a waterproof container - you'll survive. I don't imagine NY would be without power for more than a day, tops. You guys also have the benefit of gravity fed water in a lot of your domiciles, so you luck out there, too.

Here's to hoping you aren't in a basement apartment :)

You are paraphrasing the mythical Jesus well.

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

People shouldn't be forced to give money to others via taxes. Private charities are enough to help those who need it.

Romney's response while at a rally in Ohio

We're counting on Ohio. I know the people of the Atlantic Coast are counting on Ohio and the rest of our states, but I also think the people of the entire nation are counting on Ohio. Because my guess is - my guess is that if Ohio votes me in as president, I'll be the next president of the United States.

"Ohio is important because I need to be President! Oh and some hurricane or something. Whatever."

First of all, to all of those that posted those super cool spaceships. One problem: Spaceships do not bank in space.

Anyways, back on topic. I find it funny how this thing rolls around and Obama is like, "BRB Mitt, i have to go do adult things. Dont try to mess anything up while i'm gone please and maybe try and lend a hand if you want."

And Romney is like, "Hmmm...how can i help? OH I KNOW. I'll send my campaign bus and do the exact opposite of what the Red Cross asks of citizens wanting to help. I just single handly showed the country how i have no idea how important organizations like the Red Cross operates, nor do i know an effective means of sending help. It's a good thing the MSM LAMESTEAM MEDIA wont report on it. :)"

I don't blame Trump. You are what you are, and apparently he's an arrogant, delusional idiot.

I blame the people who enabled him. He should have disappeared in the 80s, after his business empire turned to shiat and the banks realized that they'd lent countless millions to a hack. Instead he somehow clawed his way back up, no doubt because some asshole still believed there was juice in the Trump brand of balls-out stupidity. And then some evil genius at NBC gave him a reality show.

So the next time you see someone talk about buying a condo in a Trump Tower or in any way referring to The Apprentice or its spinoffs with anything but scorn, punch him directly in the cock.

I often get yelled at for this, but I really enjoyed flying the Y-Wing. Yeah, the speed and maneuverability weren't the greatest, but it made up for it with firepower and durability. Often opponents in the "better" craft would get suckered into close range dogfights with me, giving up much of their advantage. I also got very good at getting shields down on A-wings and then switching too and hitting them with cross-linked ions.

Really, the Y-wing was under-appreciated by many.

Now now, he's really quite famous. He's pretty much famous for being famous at this point though. He's had a bunch of TV exposure with a show that revolved around him, and the only reason he can keep launching projects like that is because of his reputation as a businessman. His actual record is dismal, so he can't rely on that. So without that perception of him being a competent business man, he has no image to sell. That's why protecting that facade is so important to him. Important enough to embarrass himself with this ridiculous challenge he couldn't really give a crap about.

Lsherm: Bloody William: Lsherm: Oh, Donald Trump is a royal asshole. It's just your own frame of reference for suffering sounded, uh, a little too New York. Not quite at the level of complaining that the maid can't come over because the subway is closed, but close.

Personally, at this moment, it's not too bad besides the whole "stay inside or you might die" thing. I'm just not expecting it to stay that way, based on the warnings.

My gimp's shoulder is flanking through the park. As the water comes, the whip smacks about. Sandy has eminence as we shriek about. However, we try to forget about everything and marry the hills. Roger the plains and figure it out. Nothing is but a drowning shout. Four-teen times the taste of wasted waves...

I don't know why I never developed a love for the B-Wing. Maybe it was because I usually didn't enjoy B-Wing missions, so didn't fly it when I had a choice. Definitely hated going head-to-head against a B in a Y though.

GAT_00: It was very appreciated when I wanted kills.

Your attitude is the one I loved to see. Flying a Y-Wing against "superior" craft requires not making mistakes. Against an above-average pilot in a T/A or something, you might recover from a minor mistake but you'll have to be absolutely perfect and it's still a toss up. But often, pilots would think "Y-Wing = easy kill" and abandon all common sense when coming for me. In that case I usually got the kill just as they realized they should have kept their heads about them regardless of my craft.

The smarter ones had to be worn down. Flying defensively and waiting for them to get impatient could be tedious, but rewarding in the end.

I would give LucasArts ALL of my money if all they did was a straight-up modernization of TIE Fighter. All they need to do is update the grapics and make it runnable on modern systems. Don't worry about adding/subtracting/changing.

I'd be okay with that.

There's always been a 10 to 1 good guy to piece of shiat factor in the US. The only problem is that the human fecal matter in America always has 1000x as much money and resources than the decent people.

mikaloyd: valar_morghulis: feckingmorons: So now there is an obligation to give your money to charity?

When you flaunt your money as an easily expendable resource and use it to extort the President, people then come to regard you as a miserable, souless, cocksucking miser when you don't make good use of it.

so if he gives it to charity now he will be A OK again?

Not even Jesus Himself can make that man OK again.

That pompous bag of shiat can go fark himself. I hope he does penniless in the gutter. Someone should shove the nozzle of his tanning gun up ass and hold the trigger until his teeth are tan.

Bloody William: GAT_00: SilentStrider: GAT_00: 20% more speed isn't worth no hull integrity and half the lasers. I'll keep the X-Wing, thanks. Damn I hated the missions with those things.

I liked using the b-wing. more firepower and durability than an x-wing, better speed and maneuverability than the y-wing.

It was a biatch to keep up with TIEs though.

TIE Interceptor is the most powerful fighter in the galaxy in the hands of an experienced pilot. No shields, but made the A-Wing feel like a TIE Bomber.

add water to the theory that Star Wars was inspired by the Pacific theatre in WW2
The TIE would be the "Zero" (Nakajima H6M5)

Teufelaffe: Silly Jesus: Anyone with extra money sitting around that they use to try and manipulate the president of the United States into capitulating to their idiotic demands could donate to charity should do so instead of attention whoring with it or else they are an asshole. Amidoinitright?

There, now it's better.

There are fundraisers all the time where a person or an organizations says that they will match, dollar for dollar, the amount that is raised. It's an incentive for people to donate. Now, these people and organizations have enough money to cover the dollar for dollar thing for up to a certain level...and the fundraisers often don't reach that level. Does not paying that extra money make these individuals and organizations assholes?

Are you honestly trying to say Trump ISN'T an asshole? He made the offer so he apparently has money lying around.

So just because someone has money lying around, and it could go to charity, they are an asshole for not sending it to a charity without stipulation. Got it.

I gave another $200 to the Obama campaign today.

Do you have any more money in your account? If you do and don't donate it, you're an asshole.

/I have given him only $100 so far. You win.

Trump gets this kind of crap on a daily basis no matter what he does. He's used to it. He wouldn't give a shiat what a bunch of Farkers say.

Thinking of Trump, of this Moroun guy from last week and many others, I think it's time for some kind of "Monty Burns Award"
We could have different categories, like:
"Monty Burns Award for the worst human beeing"
"Monty Burns Award for reckless mangement"
"Monty Burns Award for demesurate greed"

I'm not sure why we would even discuss it in the context of a fake "donation" that the "donor" has no intention of ever making in the first place.

CapeFearCadaver: I'm not hearing much from Obama or his administration about my $5M offer to charity or to which charity the money will go.

Oh goddammit. Shut the fark up you farking narcissistic, worthless piece of shiat.

He's such a tool.

Note that he doesn't say "I'm not hearing anything." He implies that he's heard something, because he needs everyone to think he's influential and important.

He's the perfect example of someone with low self-esteem who overcompensates to a ridiculous degree.

After Hurricane Rita, my family was able to get a check from the RC while we were evacuated. It helped us to survive, since our savings were depleted pretty quickly since we couldn't go back to work and were, you know, evacuated.

Sgt. Expendable:

I would give LucasArts ALL of my money if all they did was a straight-up modernization of TIE Fighter. All they need to do is update the grapics and make it runnable on modern systems. Don't worry about adding/subtracting/changing.

This is the best we can get, for what it's worth:

And on top of that, if you're trying to get yourself in the news regarding the $5 million you have ready to donate to charity by going on and on about it DURING A NATIONAL CRISIS, you're an especially big asshole.

My father-in-law went South with the Red Cross to coordinate care. One of the things he did was to provide pre-loaded debit cards to those in need. The Red Cross does a lot for people.

Hey, guess what? Nobody cares who would win in a crazy fantasy fist-fight between Anne Frank and Lizzie Borden.

It's just so he can then turn around and say, "Sorry, charities, Obama wouldn't let me donate $5 million to you. HE'S SO MEAN!" And then he'd proceed to light the whole pile on fire in front of the now-homeless people of Queens.

Trump: Yes, I did. I really like his policy on China. China is just ripping the heart out of our economy

Letterman: You have a really nice line at Macy's. Shirts, ties and suits, right?

Trump: Yes, we're very proud of that line

Letterman: *pulls out a Donald Trump shirt* well, where are they made? *examines the tags on the shirt*

Trump: I don't know, they're made somewhere. They're great items though.

Letterman: Let me see- oh, they're made in China. China.

Trump: *shurg*

His "stipulation" had nothing whatsoever to do with the money or the charity he was ostensibly going to donate to. Hey Silly Jesus! If you cut off your nuts I'll donate a huge sum of money to a Doctors Without Borders! Luckily people like you will defend me on the internet!
