The Terrapins? You named your football team for an animal that is known for being slow and hiding in its shell when confronted?

This is karma for those God-awful uniforms.

Could still beat Auburn.

Good. This means GT has another easy win. We need all the wins we can get.

Worked for Kentucky last year.

Senior wide receiver who hadn't played quarterback since high school out Tebowed Tim Tebow with 24 rushes for 124 yards and 4/6 passing for 15 yards, which combined with 29 rushes for 84 yards by the running backs and winning the turnover battle 3-0 was good enough to beat Tennessee 10-7.

I wonder if you're allowed to have an iPad in the huddle - coach can send him plays with a diagram and a step by step chart on what he's supposed to do.

Kid was a QB in High School, it's not like he's played LB all of his football life.

Not so fast, my friend. Look how our D has been extremely inconsistent this year and our offense has been sputtering as of late. Heck, the offense only got three measly points last week. Time to start Vlad Lee.

At this point, Maryland QBs have about the same length of tenure as Al Qaeda #2s.

The New Mexico Lobos are facing the same problem. They may use the biggest guy on the Flag Squad before it's all said and done.

They should just have the center hike it to himself.

I remember watching a Broncos game a few years ago where they were literally out of Quarterbacks. I think Cutler was the starter, backed up by Patrick Ramsey. Cutler was hurt early, and Ramsey got knocked down pretty badly on a play. Their emergency 3rd QB was a WR (I think Eddie Royal, but I could be wrong), who also was out this week. So who was warming up while Ramsey was on the ground? Their long-snapper, who the announcers pointed out had never been a QB in college or high school. Ramsey had to ruin the fun, though, by sticking with it and playing through whatever injury he had suffered.

But he hasn't gotten any reps as a college QB until this week in practice.

Also, reps are very limited due to the nor'eastercane.

Last game in '78, the 49ers managed to get both the starter and the backup croaked. There was no 3rd guy. They used a DB with a pre-existing broken hand, then, when that didn't work, put in WR Freddie Solomon.

Attach an iPhone to his forearm with a padded cuff and a cover to protect it.

Wonder if anyone's tried that yet.

It's Vad Lee time for sure. I've been saying that since before the VT game.

Not so fast indeed. Tech's wins are against a I-AA school and the two worst ACC teams this year (and basically the ACC is horrible this year). Heck, Middle Tennessee not only beat the Wreck, they blew them out. And they got blown out by a BYU team that has struggled at times to put points on the board. Maryland could probably put the best QB from the frat league on the team and still be competitive.

Our athletic director does not seem to agree - he jumped ship for Clemson today. Makes it a competitive game at best.

Jim Kelly played LB and QB in high school. It's possible for a LB to be a decent QB.

Big guy. Saw him make the tackle several times after throwing an interception.

A linebacker backed up by a tight end? Sort of like the Jets.

The official reason is because they can not back up.

they should just direct snap to Stefon Diggs. Kid is their whole offense anyways. Kid is a stud.

Gave you my first "smart" tag; brilliant idea if he can throw the ball 30 yards on a line accurately.
