I love how Conservatives have been against Romney from the start, but feel zero problem voting for him now that he's said fark off to them. They really hate black people that much.

lennavan: GAT_00: lennavan: The GOP clearly has the superior campaign strategy and there is something to learn from this.

LOL no. Honestly, any decent candidate would have blown Obama out of the water without trying.

Uh, what? In what world do you live in. Obama killed Osama bin Laden, got major health care reform, turned the economy around from losing 800,000 jobs a month to gaining 100,000+ a month, beefed up security on our borders, ended one of the wars, improved foreign relations, increased rights for gays, created a plan to get out of Afghanistan by 2014, saved the auto industry, aided Libya's removal of Gaddafi at amazingly minimal cost including no troops on the ground and thus no American lives lost, expanded aid to college loans and negotiated a significant reduction in nuclear warheads with Russia to name a few.

How the fark do you run against that?

All the while fighting the real enemy at home: the obstinate GOP in Congress who would vote against any piece of legislation that would help Obama look better. And fighting them while carrying a smile.

GAT_00: Well, his budget fell flat because people realized it was a piece of crap, and that was the only real reason to pick him.

whistleridge: He got obliterated by Joe Biden, and has been a non-factor since.

Yeah I'm gonna disagree. Recall Mitt the Etch-A-Sketch. Mitt in the primary had to go hard right in order to win. But that isn't going to win a general election and Romney and his campaign knew this. So he shook his Etch-A-Sketch, did a complete 180 and came out a centrist. Now in going to the center, he would lose a lot of his derp right base. They'd just stay home. Paul Ryan is what they cling to when they hold their nose and vote.

The GOP clearly has the superior campaign strategy and there is something to learn from this. With the hand they were dealt, to think the race is this close near election day is crazy. They took Romney hard right to win the primary, then all the way back to the center to fight the general. You have at least two completely different Romneys and no one has any farking clue which one will be POTUS. If it's the derp right one, well most people agree that's far too extreme. If it's the center one, who even knows what that means? He totally has a plan to replace Obamacare and fix the budget while lowering taxes and creating jobs. What that plan is no one knows and he's not telling but trust him. If you're a centrist, check out my record as governor in MA. If you're a far right winger, ignore that stuff, here's Paul Ryan!

All along Romney has been willing to say and do anything in order to be elected. He has taken multiple positions on topics and still holds multiple positions on topics. He has his cake and he's eating it too and he's doing it on video in front of the media and it's working. The American public doesn't care if you lie to them, doesn't care if you have no specific ideas and doesn't care if take multiple stances on a single topic.

Remember when the Romney campaign said they were going to reboot, and we were all like "As if Americans are so stupid they'll just forget all the other stupid stuff he just said." And now we realize just how dumb the American electorate is.

And anyone that came with a comprehensive economic plan would have blown all of that apart.

Comprehensive Economic Plan:
1) Do nothing.
2) ???
3) +12 million jobs over 4 years. Link

Lando Lincoln: or are now voting for Gary Johnson.

Oh boy, I've heard that one a lot myself, usually right after they call Obama every name they can think of.
I say go ahead, someone has to vote for a 3rd party, may as well be you.
They shut up at that point generally.
