Good thing they caught this guy before someone died from such a dangerous drug. Lollipops? Won't someone think of the children.

And this hurts anyone, how? I don't know but the kids down the street are buttchugging everclear & that is perfectly ok, apparently... Maybe there are some real crimes the police could be investigating? Maybe?

The one time I had a lollipop it was like no other THC experience ever. Not like brownies or cookies or anything else. That one lollipop had me so high that I had REALLY bad tunnel vision and was STILL high 16 hours later.

CSB but. The first time I did an edible my friend and I bought a rice crispy treat each. Well he did his first and calls me to say "whatever you do, don't eat the whole thing!" he was stoned out of his mind and driving to a place when it kicked in. He knew where he was but didn't know how to get anywhere from there. He told me if the GPS hadn't been reading off directions he'd have been in that place all night.

I laughed it off and ate half. I was happy for about an hour then it kept going. I was playing Call of Duty and some dude kept sniping me and I couldn't figure out how to go around to get him, even though I'd played the level 100 times. Then my roommates came home and they looked like giants to me. I couldn't figure out how to get into my bedroom from the couch. And when I stood up my head was cold because it was so far from the ground. I turned the tv on and it was too much stimulation. I turned it off and my head wouldn't stop running. So I ended up with the TV on and my head covered with a pillow. 24 hours later I was came down. Not fun. at all. I was in bed most of that time.

The effects of THC don't last that long even if you eat it. It generally does last longer and the effects can be stronger if you eat it, just not that long that I've ever heard of... I suspect your lollipop wasn't just made with THC and that is why it was like no other experience you've had with THC.

The local dispensary here in Michigan has lollipops, rock candy, brownies, cookies, lozenges, and various other baked goods and candies. It's nice to have a good selection and even better to know that they're legitimate sources and not ending up with some laced bullshiat like Medic Zero likely encountered.

With three states most likely legalizing marijuana in a couple weeks, it'll be interesting how that effects the rest of the nation especially how the DEA plans on handling it.

To the casual user, a commercially available edible is probably going to be a bit too much since they're generally made with hash oil and not plant matter.

um, csb - not. tripping out for 24 hours on one rice crispie? I don't think so. Or one lollipop? Nice try. I've been brewing tea and consuming herb for some time now. ceased all smoking 3 months ago. been brewing since '09, and switch to eating this year. Love the tea but the quantity needed per batch exceeded my ability to obtain (even commercial is too $$ around here). have bad glaucoma, and the three months this summer when I was extremely low on supplies, i've lost measurable amounts of my vision. At the most, when overconsumed orally, drowsiness is the main side effect. It will usually last longer than smoking. Mostly because it is nearly impossible to consume via inhalation the quantity it would take to keep you stoned for that long. Absorption by smoking is so immediate, that the majority of smokers stop after they reach their personal limits. It is hard to tell that when consuming orally, as the effects take time to manifest themselves. I can start to feel them within minutes, but the peak may not be for an hour or so. With a little experimentation, the effective amounts can be found, and as in all things good, moderation is key. Yeah, moderation, I know. Not Fark's strong point, is it?

I've found that I prefer the mellowness of oral consumption to smoking. I also do not miss the mess or the stink of combustion, they are not worth the immediate blast. I'm primarily concerned with IOP control at night, and smoking usually wires me up which is not what I want before going to bed. If I eat or drink weed tea an hour before bed, I sleep like a rock.

dear FSM - I hope my state gets enlightened and decriminalizes or better yet, legalizes it. I can neither afford nor want to live elsewhere. I would grow it in a heart beat. I do not want to go blind and I do not want to have to have a scalpel put to my eyeball again in this lifetime. Been there, rather have it be done by a med student on my cadaver in a med school.

Fentenyl (sp?). You have to be using pain medicine a LOT to get upgraded to fentenyl, it so powerful it'll just put you to sleep if you try and use it recreationally.
