Wow so it turned out the Florida Marlins fan in Giants stadium was a Florida Marlins fan who goes to a lot of baseball games? What a twist. You can't make this stuff up!

FTFA: He says he's been to 26 Super Bowls and 80 World Series games, and he just loves sports.

Wait what?

Ah, WS games.

If you have the money and you enjoy the sport, why not? Good for him. Better than spending on the money on Stanley Cup games.

Wait a second. I thought this would be about the person wearing the Marlins shirt behind home plate at tonight's game.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with going to the playoffs even if your team isn't playing. If you enjoy baseball it doesn't matter. It does seem a little strange to deck yourself out in all sorts of gear for a team if they aren't playing though.

Yeah, I hate myself for clicking on the link. Not really a "mystery". Visiting sports fans often wear their team's jersey if their team isn't one of the teams playing, or they don't have a specific interest in either one.

And then who the fark CARES that the guy has tow panda hats, with the exception of him and the stupid sports writer? This is like the Yahoo Contributor Network writ large. Now they send these inexperienced fools to games. Since I don't follow baseball, can anyone tell me what significant events during the game that she ignored to get this "scoop"?

To be honest, most journalists never get past the 5th grade.

It was explained in te reticle that part of the reason is it helps bring luck to the team he's supporting. He wore it to a Miami Heat game when everyone was supposed to wear white and they won the final.

Why is it a big deal to wear your favorite teams jersey and hat? Every time I vist a new stadium I wear my KC cap.

Certain farkers complain relentlessly if you wear your team's jersey as a third party and accuse you of being AW. I don't farking understand it. I'm going to wear my bautista jersey at every ball park because I love my team.

Well, they were watching baseball, so...

/considered watching the final out this year, but last year I did that and the Cardinals came back and tied it up and then there was another game, so I didn't want to jinx it

No we make fun of adult men wearing jerseys, seems rather sad and its usually those that are 50-80 pounds overweight with zero athletic ability. The only people who should be allowed to wear jerseys are kids and hot chicks.
Also SB Nation links suck, they crash mobile browsing, I can only think its because I have my GPS shut off, advertisers don't like that.

Sad? So you're saying I'm being targeted by others among a whole stadium of people wearing jerseys and that I can't show respect and admiration for players of a sport I love? Go ahead and keep hating for a stupid reason, and assuming I'm not athletic and grossly overweight.
