(WWE)   Will Big Show fist Sheamus and end his reign as World Heavyweight Fella? How will Ryberg cook S'mores in a cage? Does anyone really care about a Diva's three way without a double dong involved? It's WWE Hell In A Cell 2012, 8 PM on PPV   (wwe.com) divider line 787

Eddie T. Head: silgryphon: This is probably the worst PPV of all time

Hey now, December to Dismember was worse.

Interestingly enough, D2D was held in Augusta GA, just 120 miles east.

/knew that one was gonna suck
/if it ain't golf or James Brown, nothing good happens in Augusta

And you know, it's the only way I see wrestlers deliver low blows, but that's NOT how to deliver a painful blow to somebody's nuts.

2012-10-28 10:54:12 PM
I feel sorry for the fans who paid to be there

2012-10-28 10:54:26 PM
Overall, the PPV wasn't great...but that was probably the best ending to the WWE title match you could have gotten without involving "outside" interference.

Serves me right for watching this match while using Krazy Glue to fix something.

Wasn't paying attention and got glue all over two of my fingers. Thank god they didn't get stuck together.

I think I would rather have that happen to me than watching this PPV again.

Really? That was the genius ending they agonized over since they made this match? So what, they don't count that as a loss for Ryberg?

Nice! My first one outside of the debates (simulposted 3 people at once in one of those). This was a good one!

That was a terrible PPV and I liked the Big Show win and crazy ref thing.

And like that, Ryback goes from flash-in-the-pan to just another WWE superstar.

Probably not. Senile Vince will probably come out tomorrow and declare the title vacant or something.

At least they didn't have him lose because Scott Hall hit him with a taser.

Should have used it on my eyelids, right?

Nah, Vince will come out tomorrow, reverse the decision and say the match will be redone on Raw, but someone will beat up Ryback, so he won't be able to compete. They can't vacate the title after hyping up Punk's tenure as champ, that defeats the point of him having the belt for so long to take it off him in a cheap way.

P.U. That f*cking stunk

2012-10-28 11:02:11 PM
All of this is pointless and crap. They know they have Survivor Series in three weeks, they know Rock is going to be at Royal Rumble, so they're forced to book sh*t like this to kill time until the pay per views fans care about happen.

Video game comes out Tuesday with Punk on the cover. They couldnt have him drop belt 2 days before. Should have had the game come out before the ppv.

Too be fair, it would be like predicting: Punk comes out to celebrate, but then Cena complains about how unfair it was to Ryback what happens....and Cena gets the title shot for SS.

You know, like what happened with ADR cashed in on Punk and Punk was cool with it and Cena complained to get the title shot as well

12, though no word if my prediction of Cena with a fat chick came to pass

Or the fact that Ryback as WWE Champion right now is completely ridiculous.

I seem to have this tendency to miss PPV's.

Judging by the last two pages of this thread, I seemed to have saved myself a lot of grief. XD;

I just realized this: Did Jim from Saint Paul take the night off without Cena on the PPV?

He's smarter than us all.

Moss-colored three-hamboned fam... oh f*ck it.

Hopefully WWE Uncreative sees what their bullshiat abysmal excuse for booking has done. Punk v/s Ryback was lose/lose all the way around, and they ended up sending the fans home unhappy with a screwjob finish.

2012-10-29 08:22:54 AM
I just checked Reddit's ppv thread. Apparently we saw two, totally different shows, because they're gizzing themselves over how Punk/Ryback ended.

2012-10-29 10:08:25 AM
So even after sleeping on the PPV and thinking about it, I still seem to be in the minority. Overall, it was a slightly below average PPV. Here's how I saw it playing out:

Great
Ending to Ryback vs. Punk
Cena is relegated to the pre-show
Cole on commentary

Good
Kofi vs Miz
Sheamus vs. Show (while I'm not looking forward to a Show title reign, I think the match was well-written)
JBL/JR on commentary
Punk/Ryback (other than the ending)
Hell No vs Rhodes Scholars (other than the ending)

Meh
Random tag match

Bad
No Ziggler Cash In
The backstage segments between Vicki and Heyman
Cesaro/Gabriel
Ending to the tag title match

Ugly
Diva's title match
Santino/Ryder segment
How Cesaro is being booked

Sorry I wasn't able to join in yesterday...too much stuff going on at home this weekend.

Caught up on the results, and wow, what a dull PPV. The dusty finish for Punk/Ryback was to be expected. no way were they going to let Ryback lose clean. I'm calling it right now: Rematch at Survivor Series with Cena as special Ref.

Oh, and no Ziggler cash-in = FAIL

Like I said, the best situation would have been for Sheamus to win, then have Big Show KO him...then Ziggles cashes in. But apparently they are giving Big Show a run so Orton and a returning Mizark can chase him.

Mizark's almost back? Yea, more mushy peas! :D
