So, is the earth just flippin the eff out lately, or is it me? I'm sure it's me, but it seems like we can't go more than a month or two without a geological catastrophe. NYC is about to be decimated by a blizzacane.. earthquakes in Maine, Tsunamis in HI. Then there's Haiti etc..

If the HAARP stations in Alaska and Norway are really capable of seeding and manipulating the stratosphere and ionosphere, than we should probably talk about the ethics of using such a device. Jus sayin....

/Yea yea, tinfoil, mom's basement, cheetoh dust. I know. It was just a hypothesis though. Put away your pitchfork, bro.

FYI there were no trees on the island she could tie herself to.

She was climbing a sea cliff when she was overtaken by the wave and had to wedge her hands and feet into cracks in the cliff, nearly severing them, to keep from being swept away.

Ivo Shandor: Burke Turkey: Victoria has a tsunami warning up now. Woah.

It's only an advisory for Victoria.

"A Tsunami Advisory means that that a low-level tsunami is expected. Potentially strong currents could be dangerous for low-lying coastal areas in these zones. Please stay away from beaches and shorelines until further notice."

If HAARP were to be used to create an October Surprisequake it would seem that New Madrid would be a better ROI than wasting remote islands in Canada. Though that 3.5 in western MT earlier this evening was odd.

about 700km/500mi NNW. The islands are 100km or so from the coast.

And this is an excellent occasion to let people know that the islands are called Haida Gwaii now (or still, or again, depending on your perspective).
