Local doesn't have to mean what you think it does.

Paradigm change is difficult and can cause cognitive dissonance.

Just b/c somewhat writes a book about numbers from a "numbers" angle doesn't mean he knows really jack turd about really local food, folks.

Just b/c we can spend food on making fuel (which we really can't, btw, from a global perspective), doesn't mean we should.

Paradigm shift. Money isn't everything.
