Targeting: it works only one way.

nice catch

I have a question for all of you college fans. Is there a team named the porcupines? That is the toughest animal. They have an almost impregnable defense, and if they want to, an unstoppable offense. So you would think if they named teams after Banana Slugs or Anteaters, a porcupine would be a natural choice.

if you target and intercept, it's not an issue. it's a result oriented world.

Beavers are nuts, just over a minute to win the game assuming he makes the chip shot.

A Fark Handle: if you target and intercept,

I didn't see either play, I was just commenting.

Of course, if the announcers were right and he may have been juggling or just had caught it after juggling, targeting shouldn't be called either.

not that i know of, but it makes sense. of course no college is changing their mascot. maybe university of phoenix will someday field a for profit porcupines team.

I did see one Wheaton replay actually, and meh. Hard to see it, but it wasn't a good angle.

The internet says there are a couple high school teams that are the porcupines.

I'm a little surprised there aren't any college teams that use it.

Beavers screwed by refs?

2012-10-28 01:33:53 AM
I just heard the announcers complaining about a hold on the pass. Meh, I have no idea.

Riley blew this game.

A lot of people lost their kids college funds this week.

Beavers are always screwed. That is what they are there for.

?Please don't go with the "Refs screwed them" excuse.

video man: puffy999: video man: This is Alabama's first SEC win against a good SEC team

And how good are they, really?

Not really. If Alabama can keep these margins and win out, I'll say they're the GOAT CFB team. However, Miss St.'s ranking was really inflated by the fact that all of their wins were against 3 Sun Belt teams, and FCS nobody, and the 3 worst teams in the SEC. I'd say their first true test will probably be Texas A&M. How much of the magnitude in their numbers is Alabama being good vs. the opponents being bad still gives me the Boise St. feeling about Alabama.

Michigan was supposed to be Bama's first test. Oh beat the snot out them? Ok. Arkansas is Alabama's first true test. Oh uhhh... ok let's say Mississippi State is their first true test. Now we're glossing over LSU and saying A&M. Ok.

It's October 28th. At what point do you say ok Alabama really is that good? The defense is outstanding, the offensive line is darn near perfect. McCarron is a lot more mature than last year and the depth of RB's and WR's is amazing. Can they be beaten? I'm sure they can but at this point I gotta believe only gonna happen if they don't show up mentally prepared for a game. As long as Saban keeps convincing them that they can't believe the press I think they'll be okay.

Damn you Golden Domers, damn you all!!!

/good game.
//you are the real deal this year

Earguy: And with that fumble, he may have cost the Gators the SEC East, the SEC Championship, and a chance at BCS.

LOL he said may have.
