That's some nice looking water. I would go down on that, and motorboat it too.

"We brought all of our animals inside," she said, though she added that a horse stayed outside. "She's a 40-year-old horse from the island. She's been through tons of hurricanes."

A horse can live to be 40. Man, I really regret taking that 6 year old quarter horse to the glue factory last year. We could have waited a few years and then he would have really gotten more from the tour.

Afterwards, he kept asking "When are we going back to the glue factory? When are we going back to the glue factory?" Finally, I loaded him up in the trailer, drove him around until I found a burnt out factory. I said "Oh. Looks like the glue factory burned down." You never saw a more depressed horse. Such a long face.

I'm glad no one was around so that I didn't have to explain what I was laughing at so hard.

Technical Difficulties

Reminds me of the horse I had as a kid, growing up in Jamacia. I felt like the only white kid on the island, constantly picked on and harrassed by the locals for being a bald head. No matter how many bullies tried to gang up on me, though, I could always count on my beautiful white horse, Grace, to spirit me away, up the mountain to higher, safer ground. She lived to be fifteen and I haven't cried again since the day I lost her.

I remember the last day we had together, walking along the beach as we had done so many times in the past. I looked back at our prints in the sand: her trusty hooves with her measured steps; my small feet. And as I looked, I noticed something strange. Quite often there were only her hoove prints indented in the moist sand. My little feet, bruised from running to her when things got tough, were no were to be found.

I asked her, "Why does it seem like when times got toughest there were only your hoof prints?"

She looked down at me lovingly and said, "MMMMOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Then I laid down on the sand underneath her and took one last, long drink from her horse teets.

BTW, this is what Carolyn Lawrence, voice of Sandy Cheeks, looks like in real life. I'd like to comb her pelt if you know what I mean....

Hi, I'm EZ Writer. Long-time listener, many-time caller... My hobbies include home brewing, walking on the beach at sunset, and coming to a website known for its snarketry to get all butt-hurt when people make light of serious situations.

If you want serious, go somewhere else.

Yeah, Sandy is already gone but I would say on Eleuthera we'restill getting 40 MPH gusts right now. (If not higher, and I suspect it is)

Was hoping to avoid hurricanes this year. Apparently one still got me.
