I saw something yesterday at work that opened my eyes to a whole new seedy infant marketing underworld - a diaper cake.

Had no idea they existed before yesterday but they do, they're real and they are as terrifying as they sound.

Just wait until you have kids (if you're going to). Diaper cakes mean something else entirely.

/Bet the thieves got creamed on the rash of diaper thefts.
//Sounded funnier in my head

Will they go to jail? Depends on the judge.

Things you may not know if you're not a parent: diapers are farking expensive and you run through them quickly.

Don't forget the Huggies

This baby-consumable stuff can add up. We use cloth diapers, but after our little one couldn't get enough from breastfeeding alone after four months, we started supplementing with, and then totally switched over to Emfamil (powder) formula.

That stuff is about $40 a box up here in the great white north and lasted us 6-8 days, depending on if he was going through a growth spurt. It's no wonder that the boxes of formula have alarm tags on them. High value, easy to steal.

As the father of a for month old, I can hardly imagine having to buy diapers. For the baby shower we registered for about 2 dozen cloth diapers. Greatest decision we've ever made. Granted, we're doing laundry every other day, but still better than throwing away $20-40 bucks a week.

I don't understand the fuss for diapers. Our jinormous box we get from sams club is about $25 and lasts for weeks. We have a dry cabin and cloth diapers are not, never have been, and never will be an option - I have other things to do. Formula was the real problem at $25 or more depending where for the "large" sized box that we needed two of a week. Thankfully we're finally past that stage!

Police say they head for the Tide aisle, taking half a dozen or more. Next stop, the Huggies.

Sounds like they've watched Supermarket Sweep.

Say that reminds me, how'd you get that kid so darn fast? Me and Dot went in to adopt on account a' somethin' went wrong with my semen, and they said we had to wait five years for a healthy white baby. I said, "Healthy white baby? Five years? What else you got?" Said they got two Koreans and a negra born with his heart on the outside. It's a crazy world.

Man, what a shiatty thing. I'm sure they were pissed off when they were pinched. The cops could really take a load off when it was over. I know it stinks, but somebody must have leaked something about them. Time for a real change in their lives because of the nanny state.

Don't forget the Red Bull--that stuff is going just as fast as the Tide
