two weeks of rehab

That sounds quite serious.

AdolfOliverPanties: Really? Honey BEAR?

And it got greened?

Hilarious.

Retarded headline for a retarded cheer. Works for me.

So...does that mean he now gives a shiat?

That's "Huggy Bear," subby.

No it's not.

Three other former players.

You anti-marijuana people are hilarious. A kid who probably sucks at almost everything in life finds a way to make a serious living and you arrest and kick him out of a program for smoking week? Good job!

And the jackass who caused it all was none other than Jordan Jefferson, last year's angel of goodness. It's a shame but Mathieu was the only one of the group who could have had a pro career. It's over now.

2012-10-25 10:24:36 PM
I think subby clearly meant "Honey Brown", which is fine, though I usually prefer a hefeweizen or IPA.

2012-10-25 10:29:33 PM
I thought it was "Honeycakes"..

2012-10-25 10:31:39 PM

I wonder if UW or Wazzou have sent any letters to Mathieu letting him know were just two weeks away from having this stuff legal for recreational use.

You could also turn that around and say "all that's standing between you and millions of dollars is your ability to not smoke weed for two years. How is that so difficult?" The dude tossed away the potential to become a multimillionaire because he couldn't stop smoking weed. I have absolutely no sympathy for him.

So here are the things that this thread possesses and will possess:

-Annoying marijuana advocates talking about how awesome pot is and whining about drug laws because that's 90 percent of what's important to them.
-People happy to mock stupid athletes who can't help but continue to do dumb sh*t.
-People that will note the punishments and laugh at the fact that the charges increase in inverse relation to the former player's value to the LSU football team (though I suppose if they based it on the BCS title game last year, they would've probably pinned a couple of bodies to Jefferson).

2012-10-25 10:58:03 PM
If the arsehole at the security gate hadn't caused such a stink, no one would have ever known.

You forgot to include a post from the guy who said a kid getting blown by Sandusky was "not so bad".

Remember, because two things are both disgusting, we can't possibly be realistic and rational and admit "I'd rather get blown than f*cked in the ass, regardless of situation." It's critical in all situations to shut down any grey area or thought. Must just shout anyone down who doesn't say "GREATEST ATROCITY OF ALL TIME" and accuse them of sh*t like supporting Sandusky.

Straight from the closet homosexual Republican playbook who, rather than discuss issues regarding sexuality, simply shout "NO THAT'S EVIL AND TERRIBLE AND ANYONE WHO THINKS ABOUT IT SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED."

That is some expensive assed kush. I bet few people in American history have paid more to get high than the Honey Badger.

You can systematically murder dogs and play in the NFL but you can't sell pot? He might do a little time but he is young. If he stays in shape, he can still get his shot at the league.

Imagine how much better the quality of NFL play could be if stoners were allowed in. I'd bet most WR's and DB's would play better a little baked.

Agreed but if I offerred you the world and set a few minor ground rules like no drugs, then I would view you doing drugs pretty negatively.

You can substitute anything for drugs there, really.

It didn't help Rashaan Salaam one farking bit. As fast as the game happens in the pros, and as much stuff as most guys have to keep track of on the field, being baked during the game would definitely put you at a disadvantage. There'd probably be no issue with a guy who smoked a j on his day off, so I don't see any point in the kind of piss-testing for weed that happens. That said, a few people do get completely out of control of themselves and are nearly as dysfunctional as heroin addicts. Looks like this Mathieu fellow may very well be one of those. A normal person in his position goes, "Oh, well. Can't smoke. It may be stupid, but it is what it is. Got to get paid!"

For those who don't want to read the comments, I will summarize: Honey Badger is now Honey Boo Boo, Jefferswag getting taken down for playing poorly, some FARKer wishes he'd been blown by Sandusky.

Hillbilly Jim: I have never said this before, but I submitted this with a better headline.

I didn't submit or even come up with a headline, yet mine was still better than this monstrosity.

2012-10-26 08:33:55 AM
Yes, potheads, our marijuana laws are idiotic. That said, it is still illegal, and more importantly for the Honey Badger, his attempt at redemption takes a major hit (pardon the pun) as a result.

And it's not that hard NOT to smoke pot. Pretty much saying "no thanks" covers it.

Also, let's not act like he was just smoking pot. He was with a group of guys distributing it. They just picked the guy who never really played much for LSU to pin that on. Seriously, it went "nationally known starter" - lightest charge, "starter" - medium charge, "backup" - yeah, you're the distributor. We have to charge someone.

/it IS possible that the backup safety was in charge, but that'd be a hell of a coincidence

Here's what reflects very badly on Mathieu's judgment: consenting to the search.

Wow, that's a hell of a deflection - have you considered playing cornerback? I hear there's an opening at LSU these days.
