And that's why we've designed the new Dyson robot. The finest, most wonderful robot in the world.

Finally. We are working on this. I cannot see any other use for this other than cleaner sidewalks, carpets and human annihilation. Which will result in cleaner carpets and sidewalks.

Well, after the robots clean up the carcasses on the sidewalks it will.

Why bother?
When the robots start bringing us beer, we won't need women anymore.
The species will go extinct within a generation.

The concept is singulation. They could have modified ALOHA and just gone with it.

Don't any of these scientists read books before they invent shiat?

Cuz I read this book. It doesn't end well.

But just think of the potential, once we have eliminated and replaced the poor and middle class with robots we will no longer have to listen to their liberal whining about equality, quality of life, socialized medicine, abortion, or rape.

On the other hand, genetic engineer, in vitro fertilization, cloning, et al., demonstrate that the male gender is no longer necessary to procreation.

All that light selection / elimination crap seems needless... just load them with a speech program and they can yell out, "Hey dipshiat, you in the middle." Done in less than 2 seconds.

I love each and every robot most of all.

I've seen early videos of just the ground robots. Adding a hovering bot adds an interesting element. Of course the more efficient way to do this (say in a factory) would be to have a bunch of ceiling cameras, but I think the point was to demo something like military.

Wall-E here we come!

Likewise. When the Google Goggles footage first emerged I came in the Fark thread and blabbed about Daemon and how this is just the first step...was disappointed when no one knew what I was on about. Glad dude is becoming more well known.

So apparently I'm the only one who thought it ludicrously improbable that this guy had tiny robots to bring him a snack tray, but wouldn't shell out for a flatscreen?
