When questions arose about Strategic's practices, including allegations of "submitting forged forms and of dumping Democratic registrations," the RNC fired the company, at which point Small and his team were re-hired by the Republican Party of Virginia.

Even better than not prosecuting. They awarded them with jobs.

hey, look - more actual voter fraud - and once again it's perpetrated by republicans!

Ken Cucinelli sucks.

That is all.

Wait, which team is he on?

But...but...but...ACORN!!

FlashHarry: hey, look - more actual voter fraud - and once again it's perpetrated by republicans!

Voter registration fraud. Voter fraud (the last case of which was by a Republican IIRC) is different. But this is the EXACT thing that the GOP jumped all over ACORN for when they discovered...*gasp*...eleven entire instances of voter registration fraud.

A day or two ago someone posted a comprehensive list of similar things that has happened this election cycle. Does anyone remember which thread it was in?

If the left had a James O'Keefe, this would be a wildfire. He'd probably still be a smarmy douche, but obviously these jackasses are going out of their way to stack the deck against (D). Someone should clip their wings.

I owe the Republicans an apology. I thought voter fraud wasn't a major problem, but I was obviously wrong. Sorry guys!

2012-10-25 11:47:35 AM
look, just because something happened three times in a row, over a short period of time and is clearly evidence of a problem does NOT mean that there's a problem! there's SOCALISMS going on. SOCIALISMS! and Obama! when you put your hand...into a bunch of goo....that a moment before was your best friends face...well then, you'll know what to do.

This is genuinely disgusting.

2012-10-25 01:49:35 PM
This is my shocked face that Republicans would be committing wholesale voter registration fraud in a "close" election cycle after four whole years of a stringent "anti-voter fraud" movement.

No, the right would just point out something that is not related to his argument at all. Just like when Michael Moore says something the first Reponse is related to his weight

Republicans...

How do you live with yourselves? The Republican Party is run by pieces-of-shiat like this guy. And you put up with it for what?

Republicans should all be sterilized. It's a farking *disease*.

2012-10-25 01:50:36 PM
Yup, "Voter ID" can only address ONE TYPE of election fraud: An individual voter casting one or more ballots *in-person* than should be allowed.

It can't address ballot stuffing, registration fraud, vote dumping, counting fraud, or voter interference (too few booths in certain areas, or inaccessible locations or inconvenient hours, or confusingly designed ballots) or voter intimidation.

But guess which one is a Republican crusade?

If the left had a James O'Keefe he would be constantly denounced as an unamerican liar ruining the electoral process of America by attempting to destroy the GOP because Obama is an awful president.

This bizarrO'Keefe would've already been denounced and imprisoned.

Republicans are just socializing the benefits while privatizing the risk. Isn't that what the Dims what to do with the country? The lieberal lamestream LSM media sure does whine and whinge about things, even when they get their own way.

My friend ran an ACORN office... where every. single. goddamn. voter registration form was sequentially numbered. You were given, say, 260-280, you BETTER turn those back in. Filled out *or* not. Drop them in a puddle? Put them on the dash to dry and turn them in.

Of course, that meant they also turned in some likely fake names - because throwing out legit registrations would have been worse.

2012-10-25 01:57:38 PM
How many thousands or tens of thousands registration forms have already been shiatcanned in Virginia, Ohio, Florida and Colorado?

2012-10-25 02:00:14 PM
Is there anyone lurking in this thread who's willing to honestly post something to the effect of

"I'm a Republican and I condemn this as well as the many other similar acts being carried out by my Party's employees"?

/anyone?

Ken "Obamacare is Unconstitutional Because I Say So" Coochinelli and Bob "Black People Know How Sorry We Are For Slavery" McDonnell won't be prosecuting Republican Party-related registration fraud?

THIS IS MY FEDERALLY-FUNDED SHOCKED FACE

// well, the top half is federally funded
// the bottom half is funded by the top half, and is constantly complaining about both the top half of my face and the federal funding it gets

so the best thing to do is get pictures of the company owner and employees and spam them online with tag terms of fascists and have them get death threats. That will make it public media...just sayin..not telling you to do it...just an observation.

Elandriel: If the left had a James O'Keefe, this would be a wildfire.

Why? O'Keefe has yet to deliver a legitimate "story", even the new one today is nothing but a big pile of bullshiat. He hasn't actually "exposed" anything. The guy is such a douche that Massengil has sent a cease and desist letter.

IIRC one of the things they were pilloried for was turning in fake names that they themselves flagged as suspicious.

Can the feds get involved? This needs to stop, and the people responsible need to go to jail for a long time.

/And I'm including Cucinelli here. As far as I'm concerned, looking the other way in a case like this, especially when you derive partisan advantage from it, makes you as guilty as the perpetrator.

RanDomino: IIRC one of the things they were pilloried for was turning in fake names that they themselves flagged as suspicious.

Yeah, but if they hadn't collected those names in the first place, there wouldn't have been suspicious activity in the first place! So it's, it's uh, it's still their fault!

Don't forget doing away with same day registration while purging voter roles. "Hey, look! A man named Juan Sanchez has died. We'd better make sure that all 15 people with that name are purged, just to be sure. Oh, and don't send any notice to them so they can do anything to get registered again before election day, because small government and stuff."

And yet when Florida passed a law requiring that registration forms be turned in within 48 hours (or face criminal charges) the left went bananas trying to get it undone.

Yes, because taking 72 or 96 hours to file a batch of forms is a lot different than throwing the ones you don't agree with in the rubbish.

Here in CO, also if you tried to register online in the last day... the site was down most of the day, and the Secretary of State (who speaks at the Heritage Foundation all the time) admitted that about a thousand more registrations just got lost... people think they registered online directly with the state, and they got confirmation messages... but they aren't registered.

2012-10-25 02:51:32 PM
And to the shock of absolutely no one, there isn't a trace of this story on cnn.com or nbcnews.com or yahoonews.com. I'm not at home but I feel fairly confident that none of this is getting television coverage either yet the ACORN manufactured scandal was covered non-stop for a couple of weeks

Yup. Spot on. Democrats want to make it easier to collect voter registrations and get them to the state, even on three day weekends and holidays, or just collect all week and turn them in on fridays. Republicans want to throw them into the dumpster so people who think they've registered can't vote at all. These things are totally the same. Thank you for astutely pointing that out.

No, no. This system is perfect. There can't be any problems when prosecutors get their jobs via partisan elections.

And it's a crusade to disenfranchise, not to counter FRAUD. Lets call a spade a spade here.

2012-10-25 03:14:20 PM
They're going for it. Nobody seems to care that people's rights are being taken away, so they're just going for broke at this point. Nothing to lose, after all.

All the bluster about voter ID being done to "protect the integrity of voting" and they're just going full-tilt to disenfranchise, even tossing registrations in the dumpster to turn people away on voting day. And nothing will be done about it. It just gets uglier from here.
