They retracted the article because it made their readers seeing red.

Hahahaha, I can't believe I missed that (entirely unintentional). Totally explains why the website is being a cranky biatch right now.

I thought they were sequestered in their moon huts and not allowed to pollute society with their blood magic at those times. They're actually allowed to vote when they're gravid with lunar energy? o.O

It's because a woman wrote the article.

/Just kidding. We don't hire women writers.

That article seemed unbalanced to me

Kinda hard to be preachy about others' editorial standards when your articles are post-fixed by a plea to buy something from amazon through a referral link.

Tell you what:

I will totally accept that hormones don't affect how a woman can do her job, vote, hold office, or sit in judgement ....

As long as I never have to do anything for any women because it's her 'time of the month'.

Wife : "Honey, Could you go to the drug store and get me some midol, a pint of haagen das and some maxipads?"

Husband: "No. you are perfectly fit, clear-thinking and capable of anything I am capable of. Go get it yourself. I am busy playing call of duty, which is much more interesting and satisfying than you during your period"

After being married once to a Taurus with PMS issues, I'd just like to say nothing.

They said this sort of thing would happen if we allowed gay marriage. They were right.

See, here's where your story (which was cool, bro) breaks down; CoD is NEVER interesting or satisfying. Suggest playing a real game, kid.

No kidding. The Taurus always had those issues, no matter how many times I brought it back to the shop for crystal cleansing. I had better luck with an Aries.

If a woman blames "hormones" for her poor behavior, we are all expected to accept that. If a feminist teaches that women are superior because, among other reasons, women's unique hormonal balance (e.g. oxytoxcin), we are all expected to accept that. If a woman and/or feminist claims men are defective partly due to hormones (e.g. "evil testosterone), we are all expected to accept that. If however, anything comes out even hinting at something related to hormones which does not neither a) exalt women or b) serve an opportunistically useful purpose, we are then expected to be outraged and denounce this heresy in the strongest possible terms. That's quite an interesting phiolosophy and sub culture we have here.
