fozziewazzi: It sounds gracious..until you realize everyone living around Central Park is in the 1%. So basically he's donated money to maintain and pretty up the backyard of people like himself.


That may be true in an absolute sense, but it's still bullshiat, since people from all over the world, let alone the country and all neighborhoods and boroughs of NYC, go to the park to chill, play, walk, run, etc.

Things can be selfish and still benefit mankind (and vice versa).
