Weaver95: at this point, I don't know why Romney/Ryan should bother putting forward a plan...they haven't done so before now, and at this point actually giving out details would only confuse their own followers. they're better off staying vague and lying their asses off.

I disagree wholeheartedly with a 5 point plan:

1) Their followers wouldn't read it.
2) If they did read it, they'd just gravitate to the points they like, ignoring the bad stuff conveniently
3) Leftists point out the atrocious parts, and the spinning begins
4) Strawman arguments compared to Obama's policies thus far
5) It may actually win a few more votes for them because hardly anyone understands macro-economics

He waits until after the debates to reveal what he'll do if elected? His campaign team had no faith that the American People would buy into it, apparently. He's gonna leave it to the spin doctors in the media to help him out?

St_Francis_P: Republican Mitt Romney will see President Barack Obama a Thursday campaign event in Richmond and raise him with three Virginia rallies in the state's most populous regions on Sunday.

"Most populous regions", but no stops in Northern VA? I guess we're not Real Virginians again.

He was in Leesburg at Ida Lee last week. Just my back of the fence eyeball estimate, but the crowd there was about 1/4 or so of what Obama Drew when traffic was jammed in downtown for a good 2 hours after the rally

In most cases, the spin doctors are people who are specialized in turning shiat into diamonds with a few well placed words. In Romney's case, spin doctors are people who spin a big wheel to determine just what Romney's position is at any given time.

Now each time you hear Mitt speak, you'll heard the chant "WHEEL....OF....ROMNEY" in the back of your mind. In more than a few causes, that spin resulted in the wheel coming to rest on "Bankruptcy".

/Enough of this idiotic analogy.

But I have been informed by reliable conservative sources that "forward is an exlusively communist term and that anyone who uses it is secretly signalling thier desire to impose socialism and UN rule over America

How is it that near 50 percent of possible voters still like Romney??

Can a Republican please answer something I'm dying to know: Are you voting for Romney because you think his whole liberal shtick is a lie, or are you voting for him because his whole primary campaign severe conservative stick was a lie?

It ain't 50% of possible voters. It's 50% of the people who are going to vote. Every single old, scared, stupid racist white guy will vote. Every one. If every registered voter were to actually vote, the numbers would be more reasonable.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."

"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

Isn't the definition of "conservative" the polar opposite of "forward"? Isn't that why they use the word "progressive" as a slur?

Mitt Romney appeared on Univision Wednesday alongside Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas, but something was a little peculiar about his appearance -- his skin tone. Looking back at the hundreds of photos logging his every moment on the campaign trail, the Republican presidential nominee is usually not so shockingly tan.

While his orangey-brown appearance on Univision could have been the result of bad lighting or a makeup mishap, left-wing blog the Democratic Underground concluded that Romney "dyed his face brown for his Univision interview."

Agreed. The fact that my taxes go towards funding the ridiculous bullshiat that comes out of Richmond galls and offends me. Let's become the 51st state with Fairfax as the capital.

Three Crooked Squirrels: It's part of a two-day, six-state "America Forward" swing.

So . . . he's out on the campaign trail stumping for Obama? Is that what's going on? After that debate and now this slogan, Obama really should work Romney's endorsement of him into his speech.

From the Kennedy/Romney Senate debate:

Kennedy took after Romney as a flip-flopper. "On the question of the choice issue, I have supported the Roe v. Wade," he said. "I am pro-choice. My opponent is multiple choice."

The senator, who had briefly trailed Romney in the polls, drove home his point at the conclusion of the debate, saying:

"Now he's for family leave. Now he looks like he's for minimum wage. Now he's for education reform. If we give him two weeks then he may even vote for me, because those are the things I'm for."

You graduated elementary school and actually produce the income those redneck leaches suckle on, so you're not quite the demographic Romney is pursuing.

LRA61380: This has to be a typo. I just googled "Romney and 'America Forward'" and there's no other mention of it. Obama is the one with this slogan, not Romney.

"Obama comes to Richmond on Thursday for a rally in a city park. That same day, Romney's vice presidential running mate, Paul Ryan, plans stops in Bristol and Charlottesville. It's part of a two-day, six-state "America Forward" swing."

This is indeed a horribly written article. The president is having a two-day, six state tour, not Romney. Well, Romney might be visiting six states in the next two days by sheer coincidence, but the President is specifically doing so.

This actually makes me feel better than almost anything over the last week or so. It truly reeks of desperation and that makes me all tingly.
