Republican Mitt Romney will see President Barack Obama a Thursday campaign event in Richmond and raise him with three Virginia rallies in the state's most populous regions on Sunday.

"Most populous regions", but no stops in Northern VA? I guess we're not Real Virginians again.

Holy shiat. He actually named it America Forward.

I swear, we're one week away from him delivering a stump speech and using the phrase "state level ObamaCare" to describe his health care reform in Massachusetts.

vartian: Better than "What He Said, But From A White Guy."

I think that would be the slogan for part of the debates.

My thoughts exactly! Holy Farking Shiat Balls, Batman!! He's not just stealing his platform, he's stealing his farking campaign slogan!

That was the slogan of Mitt's foreign policy.

The craziest thing about it is how little his supporters seem to care. Anything to get Obama out, I suppose.

"What he said, but from a white guy and f*ck Russia"

Wow. That's pretty brazen.

But then, his former company is renowned for, more or less, theft. So I can't say this is surprising.

It's part of a two-day, six-state "America Forward" swing.

So . . . he's out on the campaign trail stumping for Obama? Is that what's going on? After that debate and now this slogan, Obama really should work Romney's endorsement of him into his speech.

This would be geniunely the snarkiest and trolliest thing Obama has done this campaign season.

LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Those of you with Twitter (I refuse to join) should post something to Obama's twitter feed about Romney endorsing him as candidate and is out campaigning for him now.

I've got to admit, the seamless pivot from hard right Tea Party "severe" conservative to Obama-lite (*wink wink*) has been masterful.

The clear-eyed, outright abandonment of contrary positions held only weeks before. The apparently instinctive ability to deny quotes he knows full well, word for word, that he made even earlier in the same day; the same hour. The absolute shamelessness of it all. I have to say I am in awe.

All while criticizing Obama on his leadership. Romney, isn't following Obama, he's changed his mind and is now heading that direction also.

I think he's hoping that undecided voters aren't paying attention to who said what, giving him a 50/50 shot. Which means he could still win with 50% of the popular vote.

That and he will literally say whatever he needs to at the time just to get elected.

If the only way for him to win, was convincing everyone the Republican Senate is secretly gay and pretty much yours to take home for the price of a can of bud lite, he would. And many people would believe him.

Well, if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshiat. At this point in Romney's campaign, I think we've safely entered the "Throw Something Against The Wall and Hope That It Sticks" phase.

I posted in the wrong thread.

When is Romney going to come out in blackface and tell everyone to vote for the Black Guy?

Is this just a case of bad writing? I'm wondering if the writer is referring to Obama's six-state swing and that last sentence is talking about the president. I can't find anything else referring to a Romney "America Forward" swing, and Obama was definitely supposed to visit more states after the last debate than Romney.

Anyone find any other reference to this? I mean, I would not be surprised at all to learn it's true. But it seems like bad proofreading.

You guys laugh now but the romney's upcoming "change and hope" ad blitz will seal the deal.

On Sunday, Romney plans a noon rally in Haymarket in Prince William County,

Prince William County is sort of Northern VA! Even if it is in Haymarket.

For Hooville Farkers, Paul Ryan's rally tomorrow will be at the Crutchfield Corporation HQ (at 1 Crutchfield Park); admission starts at 4:30 PM, main circus starts at 6:30 PM. Usual Secret Service protections in play.

Please be sure to attend if you have the flu.

This has to be a typo. I just googled "Romney and 'America Forward'" and there's no other mention of it. Obama is the one with this slogan, not Romney.

"Obama comes to Richmond on Thursday for a rally in a city park. That same day, Romney's vice presidential running mate, Paul Ryan, plans stops in Bristol and Charlottesville. It's part of a two-day, six-state "America Forward" swing."

That's a relief. "America Forward" can go back to being an insidious communist plot.

at this point, I don't know why Romney/Ryan should bother putting forward a plan...they haven't done so before now, and at this point actually giving out details would only confuse their own followers. they're better off staying vague and lying their asses off.
