Shadow Blasko: God I cant wait until [the Rifftrax for] this comes out. It's going to be the best one yet.

/Except Birdemic. Nothing beats Birdemic.

Bella: It doesn't make sense for you to love me.
Mike: The Twilight Series, summed up in nine words.

Mugato: I got dragged to three of these things and I watched the Rifftrax for all of them and even though all the actors have the charisma of a wet sponge, at least they're trying for some action in this one.

Suuuure you were.

Dimensio: Quasar: I saw the trailer at the theaters this weekend. If I didn't know what shlock the material was I would think it seemed like an interesting movie. I'll give them credit for making it seem a lot better than it will be.

My understanding of the scenario -- which is based upon a summary from TV Tropes and not from having read any of the original material -- is that the story sets up a massive battle between two factions, and then one faction presents new information to the other faction, resulting in the opposition faction departing without any violence apart from killing one of their own members for starting the conflict in the first place.

From what I've heard the whole series is essentially about information. Someone has wrong information or too little/too much. It's withheld, misunderstood, or completely made up. Actual true information is never believed by a person hearing it for the first time. Each book ends with: "Oh so that was true/was not true. Never mind all the angst we went through."
