New live Birdemic Riff tomorrow night, woo-hoo! Yeah, I have a group of friends that we all get together and have a viewing party at the release of each Twilight Riff...we even have an armadillo mascot.

I'm quite sad that I did not get my "Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival" shirt in time.

I'll be there ..

Just hanging out, hanging out, hanging with my family.

/Honestly, I am a little worried about how Birdemic is gonna go with the live riffs. They pledged to not re-use lines, but some of them were soooo good.

I saw the trailer at the theaters this weekend. If I didn't know what shlock the material was I would think it seemed like an interesting movie. I'll give them credit for making it seem a lot better than it will be.

My understanding of the scenario -- which is based upon a summary from TV Tropes and not from having read any of the original material -- is that the story sets up a massive battle between two factions, and then one faction presents new information to the other faction, resulting in the opposition faction departing without any violence apart from killing one of their own members for starting the conflict in the first place.

So, exactly like the climax of season 4 of Babylon 5?

Saw the trailer on TV over the weekend. Given how much money these films have made, you'd think they could afford halfway-decent CGI by now.

From what I've heard the whole series is essentially about information. Someone has wrong information or too little/too much. It's withheld, misunderstood, or completely made up. Actual true information is never believed by a person hearing it for the first time. Each book ends with: "Oh so that was true/was not true. Never mind all the angst we went through."

I couldn't stand the Birdemic Rifftrax. The movie is just so friggin' painful to watch that even the humor can't keep me watching.

He's not half as loony as the people of Forks. Trust me, the whole Olympic Penninsula is nothing but a hotbed of freaks and weirdos. That's why I hauled ass as soon as I could back almost 20 years ago.

I'm not sure if you've actually read or seen Romeo and Juliet, but "never mind" isn't exactly the sentiment I'd pick to represent the ending.

I will say every single riff commentary for BD Pt. 1 has been gold. Sure, there's only RiffTrax (and now DVD Podblast), but still, solid gold.

No. Babylon 5 had more realistic dialogue.

Ah, others joining the Birdemic Rifftrax tomorrow night...I have a gang joining me.

As for this...meh, I guess. It looks to have more of a story than the last four movies put together. It might have been even moderately interesting if the other four movies didn't happen before it.

I keed. Although I wouldn't mind the ending to be applied here. Bella thinks Edward is staked by Jacob and kills herself. Edward wakes from a vampire trance to find her dead and stakes himself. Jacob lives. Or would Jacob be Tybalt instead and already killed off? I'm not going to waste braincells on this. Eh.

I am not ashamed to admit that my friends and I are going to that movie on opening day.

But we're buying tickets to something good.

And bringing vuvuzelas, especially for the reportedly-hilarious "vampire sex" scene.
