flashing a peace sign in one photograph,

That's not the peace sign. I might have forgiven an American paper making that mistake, but the Daily Mail? Sheesh.

I have to drop the kids at their high school every morning (too far away for a bus).

Whenever the brotherly bickering ramps up I threaten to yell "Have a nice day at school!!" like Jerry Lewis the next morning. Considering the herds of beautiful underage tail I see walking in the doors, I figured they would listen, so as to not destroy any chances they may have.

It works like a charm--never had to get all "Hey LAAAADEEEEE", on them.

/Yet.

I threatened take my shirt off and walk my daughter to the front of her school if she was too late to catch the school bus. She managed to catch the school bus.

halfof33: jtown: When my cousins and I bugged my dad to drive us somewhere and he didn't want to go, his revenge was to take us in the dump truck. He'd drop us right in front of the place, too. "Dad, no! Drop us around the corner." "Next stop is home. Take your pick."

Who the hell wouldn't want to get dropped off in a dump truck anyway?

Sounds pretty cool to me

Think this only without all that pesky metal holding the plywood sides together or a back of any kind, the whole thing swaying back and forth. And a lot more rust on the truck. Holes in the muffler, belching unburned fuel.

People like you are ruining the internet. Why would you post a private photo for friends on a public board? Are you really so morally bankrupt that the meaningless accolades of anonymous users are more important to you then respecting this teen girl's privacy? Disgusting.

Genius. I've got to remember these things if I ever become a parent.

"If you don't get ready for school and get on that bus I swear I will get out of the car in just my shorts and wave goodbye to you in front of everyone. Ball is in your court."

Millennium: MajorTubeSteak: If this picture doesn't have derp written all over it, I don't know what does.

I think that's supposed to be the point.

What I meant to say is pic has Fark meme potential written all over it.

It's amazing what the threat of parental embarassment can make kids do... especially in subsequent times if they didn't take your threat seriously the first time.

What the parents actually did is a fair bit more benign than posting scantily clad kidpix. The cross-eyed dad is hilarious.

doczoidberg: Darn. The headline had me hoping that was actually what happened.

That's why I clicked, too. Good headline subs.
