Almost makes me want to let my daughters have a FB account so I can threaten them with it.

Almost.

'Something like this would have been about the most horrifying experience of my life,' wrote one user. 'I feel for the sister.'

I believe life will be very difficult for this one.

halfof33: jtown: When my cousins and I bugged my dad to drive us somewhere and he didn't want to go, his revenge was to take us in the dump truck. He'd drop us right in front of the place, too. "Dad, no! Drop us around the corner." "Next stop is home. Take your pick."

Who the hell wouldn't want to get dropped off in a dump truck anyway?

Sounds pretty cool to me

Think this only without all that pesky metal holding the plywood sides together or a back of any kind, the whole thing swaying back and forth. And a lot more rust on the truck. Holes in the muffler, belching unburned fuel.

Yeah, that's like fantasy lesbians vs. reality lesbians.

Slaxl: flashing a peace sign in one photograph,

That's not the peace sign. I might have forgiven an American paper making that mistake, but the Daily Mail? Sheesh.

The couple in question is from Wisconsin, not Britain.

That's not an American peace sign, either; a peace sign is palm out. That's the "sideways douchebag, usually accompanied by duckface" sign.

doczoidberg: Darn. The headline had me hoping that was actually what happened.

I think they were threatening to put a picture of Mom (or maybe Dad) in a bikini on her Facebook page. That would have been real punishment.

Agreed, and here's the comment I tried to post on the Daily Mail's page, but got an error message:

For reference, in the US, that's the peace sign no matter how you hold your hand. Only in the UK can it be an offensive gesture, although I guess anyone who's watched British TV shows would recognize the gesture (provided there was motion). But yeah, I'm pretty sure that as far as Mom's are concerned, she really is making a peace sign.

Do kids in Wisconsin really talk like that?

I'm all for this and beating your kids if they screw up. Not abusing but a good harsh whipping, corporal punidhment WORKS, fark parents now fark society now, fark anyone who won't hit their kids.

2012-10-26 12:53:30 AM
Let's see. Kid does something to annoy parent. Parent does something that is most likely a terms of service violation that could possibly get the kid, the parent(s) or both banned from the network in question, and depending on the jurisdiction, there might be criminal computer trespassing charges in the offing.

{sarc}
Way to set an example.
