(Huffington Post)   Mitt Romney running as fast as humanly possible from Richard Mourdock, for whom Mitt cut a 30-second endorsement TV ad that began running in Indiana yesterday. Yesterday? It's almost enough to make you feel bad for Mitt. Almost   (huffingtonpost.com ) divider line

I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.

Maybe God also intended to have a doctor shove a vacuum in the uterus and suck that little bastard back out...

Yeah, geez guys why are you so hard on this poor misconstrued gentleman? His point was you have to look at the bright side of rape.

Now I have a bastardized version of "Always look on the bright side of life" from Life of Brian running through my head, and it won't leave!

Always look on the bright side of rape

Can this be plastered on a billboard somewhere?

"And I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something God intended to happen." -- Richard Mourdock(R)

"Please, please send us Richard Mourdock. We need this man in the United States Senate." -- Paul Ryan, VP candidate

Jacobin: Talibornagains are ludricrous farkwits. Rmoney has to court them to get elected. It would be nice to have a normal republican party but we don't

That's the flaw in collecting the single issue voters as the Republican party has done. People who only care about one thing (NO GAYS! or DON'T TAKE MAH GUNS! or NO TAXES EVER!) are prone to extremism.

The ideas of fiscal conservatism have merit, but when you wrap it in "God wanted you to be raped", you lose a lot of people. A lot.

And you should fear the ones you don't.

Yeah, geez guys why are you so hard on this poor misconstrued gentleman? His point was you have to look at the bright side of rape. You know, your rape baby that God gave you. Life gives you lemons you make lemonade. It's just like Rick Santorum said:

"Well, you can make the argument that if she doesn't have this baby, if she kills her child, that that, too, could ruin her life... I believe and I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created - in the sense of rape - but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you.

"As you know, we have to, in lots of different aspects of our life. We have horrible things happen. I can't think of anything more horrible. But, nevertheless, we have to make the best out of a bad situation." Link

Nothing like forcing a rape victim to give birth to her rape baby to make the best out of a bad situation.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

When life gives you babies, make baby back ribs.

Doesn't matter what Mitt says or does. He is still going to be the next president. He could sacrifice a dozen babies to C'thulhu, live on national television, and he will still win.

Also apparently God's will that Republican candidates continue saying monumentally stupid shiat.

It's clearly God's will that Romney looks like an idiot, just like Rape.
