I'm not sure who the The Official Keeper of the LOPCATGOPATA is, but first, my thanks, as it makes me laugh every time. Second, if I were to work this into a song somehow, would you abstain from suing me for copyright? I'll give you 20% of all royalties. The math on it will be super simple. Even a public school graduate could do it.

... how is clint eastwood on the list? i thought he is part of the hardcore out-of-touch party as well, no?

I'm not the official keeper of the list, but shouldn't Planned Parenthood be on there? I mean, isn't that one obvious?

He did that pro-auto industry recovery Chrysler(?) ad for the Super Bowl a couple of years ago that rankled the hackles (hackled the ranks?) of some GOP pundits.

He calls them out on their shiat once in a while and he also made that very terrible speech at the recent RNC.

No but I'm sure the hags and old queens would balk at selling to her.

2012-10-23 09:01:36 PM

faeriefay: Ann looks like she just sucked on a giant lemon, all the time. Her constant sneer, says "i am so much better than the rest of you, but I am trying to pretend to like you" she is gross & ugly. No wonder designers won't work with her.

No kidding. She just reeks of snooty entitlement and disdain for all, among other unflattering traits. And besides, how much of a biatch is Ann Romney that Anna "The Devil Wears Prada" Wintour hates you?

2012-10-23 09:06:11 PM

CygnusDarius: While I think it's important that the republicans don't win this election, I think people are focusing a little too much on just the presidency alone.

There's also the issues with the Senate and the House of Representatives. I mean, what will one candidate do if he's alone?.

/Not very familiar with the US voting system, so I may be doing a massive faux pas

No faux pas; you are absolutely correct. That's why the Repubs got spanked in 2006 and the Dems got spanked in 2010. Controlling the legislative houses is critical to passing a party's agenda and too damn few Americans [with whom I agree politically] understand that.

Two Words:

Michelle Obama 2016!

2012-10-23 09:14:32 PM

theorellior: Ann Romney is also Mormon, which might have an effect at her stylishness.

If she were a Quaker, she wouldn't be worrying about fancy clothes.

2012-10-23 09:40:43 PM
Is anybody else around here starting to sense the beginning of the end?

Oh and, Mrs Romney doesn't have an ass the size of a very large pumpkin.
She doesn't need as much help as the obama chick with her wardrobe to cover her ass.

2012-10-23 09:41:36 PM
Serious question: do black guys think Mrs. Obama is attractive? I know liberal white Farkers do, or at least claim to, but I think they may just be saying that because its the first black first lady and what's gets more PC points than claiming she's beautiful?

I mean, if you saw her in a K-Mart, would you give her a second look? And what do black guys think?

2012-10-23 09:46:34 PM

Surool: First off, anyone tacking the suffix "-gate" onto a scandal should have all of their teeth beaten out of their skull with a hammer.

Second: Really Fox News? That's all you have now?

I'm waiting for "Gategate".

That's when Fox News is accused of minimizing a Republican President's attempt to interfere with the electoral process by attaching the suffix "-gate" onto every scandal.

Of course that will bring around "Gategategate"

This is when Fox News accuse the "Gategate" accusers of just trying to cause a scandal by scan... er... wait... did I just divide by zero through recursion?

As a woman, I don't know if Michelle Obama is any prettier than any other black lady, but I can safely say Ann Romney is much more unattractive than most fat white women.

Oh, yeah, totally. Anne Romney is not pleasant to look at.

No, this isn't like sharp knees or anything, but since someone posted a pic of Jackie O, I'll just say this:

Yeah, Jackie O is kind of attractive, however, her eyes are really far apart, and for some reason, that's unsettling.

The same way that the chck from Dexter's hot, but her eyes are too far apart as well. Something, really weird about that Kinda freaks me out.

Yeah, I have never found Jackie O attractive. The deer eyes are just too much.

I call it the republican persecution complex getting out of hand.

what_now: Women who have had to budget know how to shop for flattering clothes. Although most women can look at a garment and have a general idea if it's flattering, they can't afford to throw away money on stuff without trying it on. They also know how to work with the fewest number of pieces, and stylish women on a budget understand the "one good piece makes an outfit" theory. And finally, because they can't afford to buy a dress, wear it once and throw it away, they will make sure they WANT that dress, that it looks good on them

Man, I'm glad I'm a dude. This reminds me of the scene of that movie with Ryan Gosling teaching the 40y/o Virgin actor how to dress to pick up the ladies. Something about how the best thing about being a guy is you can make a killer wardrobe with 16 pieces of clothing.

/doesn't have even close to 16 pieces of dress clothing.

Seconded. I suppose Anne is attractive in a generic way but nothing I would go after.

So you are comparing a glamour pic of Jackie and red carpet photos of black celebs who are hired for their good looks to awful impromptu photos of Michelle? Seriously?

What do you expect from a bigoted Teabagger who has obviously been brainwashed by Faux News??

Damn Teabaggers.

I'm a white woman and Michelle Obama is more attractive to me because of her personality and down-to-earthiness. and being vivacious and genuinely enthusiastic. Ann Romney seems cold. (Also, being that I'm a descendant of peasants, aristocrats like Ann Romney scare me.) It's one of those things where personality adds a lot to aesthetics.

The previous first lady often looked like she was on some kind of drugs, to keep her from running screaming out of the White House. Like a modern day version of the 19th century noblewoman who's constantly stoned on laudinum because her life is awful and there's nothing to do.

Your really starting to slip there.

Fashion conspiracies...
There are guys sitting in their DIY sound-proofed rooms in their parents' basements, surrounded by blurry pictures of shiny things in the sky over the desert and scale models of the World Trade Center, pushing back their tin-foil hats, and thinking:
"SERIOUSLY, who BELIEVES this stuff?"

2012-10-24 09:39:37 AM

what_now: Now, I don't think Michelle Obama cares about prices NOW, but for most of her life, she did.

Actually, the upper end of fashion carries price tags that even the Obamas would have to approach cautiously. But then, those outfits are designed for stick figures who walk up and down runways but don't do much else. So, where the hell does a well-to-do 48 year-old mother of two buy "nice" outfits, anyway? A PotUS might make use of bespoke tailors, but does that option exist for the first lady?

2012-10-24 09:45:01 AM

Makh: Third, maybe the reason that Michelle Obama looks better in that dress is because she just looks better in general.

Only a vast liberal conspiracy could make a 48 year old mother of two look better than a 63 year old mother of five.
