kbronsito: The entire world has shrunk... its called globalization.Also (I'll accept corrections if i'm wrong) but I understand that our Nimitz class aircraft carriers have two nuclear reactors that allow them to navigate w/o stopping for fuel for about 20 years. It seems that if your ships are faster and don't need to stop as much to refuel and you can cover more ground with less vessels.
