Republicans wanted Citizens United. Now they are complaining Obama is using the ruling to his advantage? Was it only to be used by Republicans? I don't get it.

If Hurricane Tort King is a business, than Hurricane Tort King is a person. Right?

He's given over 30 million alone, because he wants Romney to stop ongoing investigations against his illegal business practices.

Yes, we should. From yesterday's thread on top five campaign donors:

Yesterday, Mostyn was at #5 on the Obama donor list with just over $2 million in contributions. He is now the #1 Obama donor with just over $3 million.

Adelson, the top Romney donor, has contributed $34.2 million (more than 11 times as much as Mostyn) to the Romney Campaign.

The top five donors to the Obama campaign have contributed a total of $11.82 million. The top five donors to the Romney campaign have contributed $76.1 million.

I guess BSABSVR, right NBC?

The people who would have gotten nothing but then ended up with an additional 100 million dollars are suffering because of his actions or the actions of the insurance company that withheld payments and scammed and robbed people in the first place? Sorry we live in a world where companies need to be constantly sued to keep from screwing people over.

Because the claimants would clearly better off just being raped by insurance companies with no recourse.

Romney donated to Obama's Super-PAC?

I just heard on NPR yesterday that Obama is well ahead of Romney in donations from small donors. Funny how that's not the story people are focused on.

2012-10-23 12:39:31 PM
With his latest seven figure donation, Houston personal injury lawyer Steve Mostyn -- an ardent foe of tort reform -- has now contributed $3 million to Priorities USA Action, a Super PAC run by two former White House aides

Fark the lolyers, every last one of them.

Yep, elections are going to be farked by wealthy donors for years to come. The bright side is the ads end in about two weeks until the next election cycle. If Rmoney loses that could be as soon as December.

I read that line, closed the tab, and came in here to make sure this had been covered. I'm glad to see it was. Seriously, wtf? How on earth can they imply that the Dem Super PACs are unique in their reliance on a small number of wealthy donors? That's true of ALL farking Super PACs!

You do know that tort reform has not reduced insurance costs one dollar, anywhere, ever, right? Of course you don't. Large companies should be able to engage in whatever misbehavior they like, and if they ruin a regular citizen's life, it's the citizen's fault.

Good news -- as long as they were legitimately raped, they're not also pregnant. Claimants' bodies have a way of shutting that down.
