So, a franchise that can't do shiat, and won't do shiat, is moving in the fences and raising ticket prices?

What. The. Fark.

You want to put butts in seats? Get rid of the clowns in the front office. Get rid of the dancing groundskeepers. Get rid of the cute hydros on the jumbotron. Stop treating your fans like farking children. They want to see a competitive team, not the shiat I just listed. There's a reason it looks like Fenway when Boston comes to town.

BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO GODDAMN FANS.

And stop opposing the new Sonics arena, douchebags. Stop being greedy whores and start being good stewards to your community. It'll take years if not decades, but people will come back.

/It would help if your owner had ever seen a farking game played by the team he owns, or if he even lived on the same continent

meanmutton: That worked out pretty well for Oakland this year.

Oakland isn't working off a five year hangover from the aftermath of incompetent management hiring a dude because his dad used to know a lot about baseball.

lunchinlewis: I think the M's have some good talent in the system and have drafted well over the past few years. Give them some time.

Fark that. They've been in the cellar for almost a solid decade and they've been singing the "We're loaded in AAA" song the entire time.

They aren't going to get any better. They're just going to keep fielding AAA players on a major league field.

JohnBigBootay: Rent Party: Between this and their opposition to the new arena, I would be shocked if the Mariners didn't end up setting some kind of record for lack of attendance this year.

They'll just invite griffey jr out to come take a dump on second base. that'll get 40k in the seats on a week night.

Griffey probably still hits better than Smoak.
