ignatius_crumbcake: I have to imagine Giants fans are enjoying this as much as Tiger fans enjoyed our game 4.

Winning a Game 7 after being down in the series 3-1 probably has a significantly different feel to it than a swept series that was pretty much over after Game 1.

So, heard that some guys were debating tonight about the future of the world as we know it. What happened there. Comeback. Of. Historical. Proportions????

Moscow St. FTW

I had many a friends that lived on a capital. Went to middle school at the top of the hill at Luther Burbank. Siblings went to Vis Valley, Portola and Burnett.

Then they all went to Lowell high school.

Family joke is we moved out of the city because I didn't get accepted. Kids are cruel. Especially the ones you are related to

Not to mention winning three games on the road, facing elimination every time.

I'll say this- I'm a Dodgers fan. And during my time living in SF I became a huge A's fan. I don't like the Giants. But one of my best friends passed away earlier this year and he lived and breathed Giants baseball. I found out about his death on my way to a Dodger/Giants game earlier this season... I had been trying to call him to wear him out over the match up. Wherever he is now in spirit, I'm glad for you my friend. Still an inning to go here and a ways to go after that. But you'd have loved this!

Britney Spear's Speculum: No Romo? This is bullshiat

Why would you waste a closer with a 9-0 lead with a tough team ready to meet you with several days rest?

Top of the 9th of Game 7 of the NLCS...if they somehow get Yadi up you'll all have to excuse me while I throw things and/or curl up in the fetal position.

so wait if the game gets delayed what happens? They play all over again?

Just amazes me how the rain hardly results in a flinch from anyone. I was miserable today when it was sprinkling and we had a fire alarm go off at work.

I think they really want the shutout. Plus, Lopez isn't super sharp right now, they want oto finish this thing off as fast as possible.

Cancel game 4 of the Yankees Tigers game, but with the same threat, we play this one. Should have played them both, wusses.

/Yankee conspiracy theory to give CC one more day rest.

Radar shows it stopping in about 5. MLB policy is to play on. No matter. The SF baseball gods are perverse.

2012-10-22 11:36:41 PM
If the ball comes anywhere near the plate they're calling it a strike.
