GAT_00: FlashHarry: how can a state that is home to two of america's greatest cities be a gnat's eyebrow away from electing this misogynistic piece of garbage?

What the fark? Did you just declare Missouri, St. Louis and Kansas City to be great? The only redeeming thing in that group is Kansas City BBQ.

Have I told you to eat shiat lately? I honestly feel any time you speak and other liberals don't tell you to eat shiat makes the rest of us look bad. Eat shiat.

That's why Democrats contributed so much to his campaign!

You're thinking of Montana. No, Montana has no cities to speak of.

Sounds like the Derpocrats are legitimately butt-hurt again by Akin.

randomjsa: And if a liberal called a female conservative the same name, it would be HILARIOUS.

Your point? It's still wrong, no matter who does it.

They're butt-hurt over a Republican sabotaging his own campaign?

The Onion is prophetic: Still, I'll agree, that 13% chance for Akin is rather sickening.

Spend some time in southern Missourah and you'll be farking amazed it's only 13%.

Scary to think that this guy isn't polling at about 8% by now.

His point is that liberals in his imagination are just as bad as Akin in reality.
No, really. Stop laughing. That's his actual point.

dickfreckle: Speaking of Akin (which means we're also talking about abortion and rape), I have a question: When a candidate says that he's against abortion except in cases of rape, doesn't that mean that his personal belief isn't that solid? I mean, if you genuinely believe that abortion is murder, then aborting even a rape-fetus is still murder, right? And murder trumps rape.

I guess what I'm saying is that at least these wingnut assholes are consistent in their belief. If you believe that murder is OK in certain circumstances, how strong can your anti-abortion stance really be?

/I am NOT complimenting these guys - just pointing something that I've always wondered about

You're right. Unfortunately if pro-lifers think about it then they try to square the circle, by believing (for example) that rape doesn't get women pregnant.

Under the same reasoning, since both nonmarital sex and contraception use are MUCH smaller sins than murder (or may not be sins at all, depending on one's particular doctrine) then pro-lifers, to be consistent, should be supporting free contraception for everyone, to cut down on the murders. (They could view that as a temporary stop on the way to their apparent ideal of sex being for procreation only).
