Jedekai: UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: Is there a reason why you couldn't just take a pic of a tree with your smartphone, and have it identify the species? Much like a QR code or facial recognition software?

IRL I have a hard time figuring out if one leaf is Leafy Spurge and another is Lamb's Ear.

And I was in a Botany class for a year-and-a-half.


Good point. I refuse to use Version 1.0 Mushroom identifying software.

Why use QR codes? Just print the name and let people Wikipedia it if they want to know what it is.
