"What we should be doing is taking the common sense that we see in Missouri and taking that to Washington, D.C..."

Yeah, but you won't be the one doing that, now, will you?

Common sense? From this guy? Huh, yeah... he's a real Thomas Paine, alright.

Time + his own words = whatta jerk

I'm sure that conservatives think the same of us. We are currently focusing on his current activities. They look at the sum of their person.-not just the rapey, mysogimist comments he makes.

It's the Bill Clinton effect. If you have been accused of cheating on your wife- don't bang the intern. If you are being accuse of being sexist, stop mking sexist remarks.

Stupid of the nature that Mr. Akin is afflicted with, should be terminal.

2012-10-21 03:19:08 PM
I fully expect Akin's autonomous forehead to break free from his body and go on a shooting spree.

That was a fun week.

I really hate this state sometimes.

He's going to win. This is the man who truly represents the hearts and minds of your average American. Think about that.

You may not like it, but Akin is right. Claire has been a great little lapdog for Obama and his agenda. She's been steppin' and fetchin' every time he tells her to.

Yes, because as dumb as some of what he says has been, McCaskill has been breaking the law with her tax evasion, her maltreatment of the elderly, and now we are finding out that she's been letting her husband use the Senate dining room as his personal office. Missouri deserves better.

It makes me think that there is, sadly, nothing that these guys can say or do that will turn off enough people to keep them out of office.

Hopefully the more he opens his mouth, the bigger the gap gets.

The state races here are a joke.

Luckily Jay Nixon will get reelected because he's Jay Nixon. Or else we'll get someone who'll treat the state government like its a business (Spence), and we all know how that will turn out.

Then for Attorney General, we got Chris Koster, who's been AG for Missouri as long as I can remember and is running on his experience vs. Ed Martin, who's platform doesn't seem to extend much past "I'll repeal Obamacare".

Very cool. Wish it would work up-ticket to put MO in play for Obama but anything to keep that dipshiat out of the Senate.

There's a nice contender for "understatement of the week." What is it with the GOP and women? Even when they manage to be basically correct ("some girls rape easy," i.e. some girls will say rape after having second thoughts) they somehow manage to come across as misogynist neanderthals.

He's saying she's a biatch.

But beyond that, the rest of the country DOES NOT want to know what Missouri is doing. We DO NOT want Missouri telling us what to do. We want a senator to GO REPRESENT US.

I can't say for the rest of them, but I'm pretty sure that Akin is a genuine rapist with a backyard full of hookers.

Nobody talks like he does without strangling a few truck stop girls.

Unless Akin's complaining that she GET TAX MONEY FOR THE STATE OF MISSOURI....is he?

The real scary thing is that in Missouri, this is not considered outrageous speech for a large segment of the population.

That Batman movie, where they put the hallucinogen in the water supply, was always said to be Hollywood fantasy movie stuff. However, with each new Minnesota poll and Akin comment du jour, one has to wonder if a mad scientist has not figured out how to distribute a stupid pill via the water supply in that state?

My theory is that Republicans have been focusing on the low-empathy voter so long that this kind of superficial, fark-'em-anyway attitude actually boosts their base appeal. There are a lot of people out there who have no empathy and don't quite understand what it is, maybe some sissypants treehugging anti-God thing.

Todd Aiken is so comically bad at being a politician, I feel like he's one of those jerks in an As-Seen-On-TV-style commercial who just can't do anything right. There should be a 30 second clip of him, shot in black and white, expressing his political beliefs to women, and repeatedly getting drinks tossed in his face; after each conversational effort, he will turn his dripping face to the camera and just shake his head in frustration.

2012-10-21 04:32:27 PM
Meanwhile, the Duggars are out there on the campaign trail campaigning hard for Akin.

And there are still enough dumbasses out there who are going to vote for this douche to make it close.

Seriously, Missouri, THIS is what you want representing you? Welcome to the Florida-Texas-Arizona Axis of Derp.

Must have been hard for him not to use the word "biatch" (minus the 'a', of course... why is that word censored here?)
