OK, here's the thing. Comedy is subjective. There are many comedians who many people don't "get." If you don't "get" Louis C.K., that's fine. I understand, you couldn't concentrate enough to get a high school diploma, and the landlords (AKA Mom and Dad) are pressuring you to get a "damn" job (clean latrines or do some goddamn thing that pays you money to offset the ridiculous amount of Cheetos you've been eating), and you have way too much stress in your life to pay attention to any joke that doesn't involve farts.. Hmmm...actually, what I'm trying to say is that, if you don't "get" Louis C.K., then you're the online equivalent of a guy who has a decal on his truck of Calvin pissing on something "sacred". It's social shorthand for, "I don't ever have to talk to you, EVER!"

Sorry, my Internet Ninja button was pressed by idjiots. Imagine I never said anything. Carry on.

Everyone I've introduced to Louis practically pissed themselves when watching any special - it's pretty universal and solid material.

For all those trolling about how overrated he is, by all means, if you have some recommendations fire away.

I wonder if he talks about his children in his opening.

I came to ask this. Jesus, that shiat gets old real god damn fast.

It's just that, trolling. Farkers will love a band or comedian only as long as they are still fairly obscure. That way, they feel edgy and cool for having heard about it. Once a performer has any kind of commercial or mainstream success, they are poser sellouts and they never really liked them anyway.

Scottathon: Am I alone in preferring his show to his standup by a whole lot?

His show (at least the current season) is a bit too depressing for me.

People seem to be forgetting that he was a big part of one of the funniest things to ever come out of SNL...TV Funhouse.

He worked with Smigel on Conan too. TV Funhouse was one of the most twisted and farking funny things ever. Just the resturaunt that served the animals their own kind of meat was wrong on so many levels.
