CSB:

One time during undergrad, I went to the dumpster and threw in a bag full of old, rotting food that had been in the fridge.

Except there was a homeless guy in there. The bag covered him with ancient milk and other unpleasant stuff.

He got out of the dumpster, in a rage, and chased me back into the apartment.

To this day, I check dumpsters for people before I throw anything in.

If the truck only held 2.5 square meters of garbage, and part of that was a full grown man, wasn't it mostly filled with the man with a few scraps of litter for decoration? It's not like this was a huge American truck that could haul a Volkswagen in the back.

Around my neck of the woods, the trash guys refuse to pick up anything over 50 pounds, you need to call the "special pickup" number to have someone pick up large items for recycling.

Or haul them to the recycling place yourself.

Reminds me of the stories of divers being sucked into the water tanks of aerial fire fighters. If real, a rather piss poor way to go out.
