It wasn't an autobiography, it was a "self help book for homeowners". In the intro he acknowledges that he can't make money off of his crimes, so he created a survey and interviewed all the prisoners he was locked up with to determine how and why they robbed and what was useful in preventing the crimes. Really interesting stuff. Very disappointing to find that he was all rapey as well.

I guess there is no statute of limitations for rape since they got him locked up for a rape that happened over 35 years ago.
